Persepsi dan opini publik tentang citra Polantas Jawa Barat

Abstract

The police as people friend is a concept that has a positive value and become police’s aspiration in improving performance, and the role of law enforcement function. In addition, building a good relationship with the various layers of society who often interact directly with the police, in such as the traffic police (traffic corp) is needed to improve the performance of police units. One purpose of distributing questionnaires to public opinion about the image of the police, the public expected (internal-external public) can provide a response to the understanding, assessment, and the need for trust in the police's image is now in order to create effective communication, understanding, support and cooperation of an organization and its publics.

Polisi sebagai sahabat rakyat merupakan konsep yang memiliki nilai positif dan menjadi cita-cita Polri dalam meningkatkan kinerja, peran dan fungsinya sebagai penegak hukum. Selain itu membangun hubungan baik dengan berbagai lapisan masyarakat yang acap kali bersinggungan langsung dengan polisi, dalam hal ini polisi lalu lintas (Polantas) sangat dibutuhkan pihak polisi untuk memperbaiki kinerja kesatuannya. Salah satu tujuan menyebarkan angket akan opini publik mengenai citra polisi, diharapkan masyarakat (publik internal-eksternal) dapat memberikan respon akan persepsi, penilaian, kebutuhan dan kepercayaan akan citra polisi demi menciptakan komunikasi efektif, pengertian, dukungan serta kerjasama suatu lembaga dengan publiknya.
