dc.description Abstract. Buying and selling already existed at the time of the Prophet, there are many Quranic and Hadist arguments that discuss business ethics in Islam. it becomes a reference for a Muslim to run his business. But the fact is that there is a lot of fraud committed by traders, one of them in Pasar Tradisional Cijerah Bandung. So, researchers conducted a study of the awareness held by traders on Islamic business ethics. The problem formulation of this research is first, how to buy and sell according to Islamic business ethics, second, how to practice merchant trading of the Pasar Tradisional Cijerah Bandung, third, how traders are aware of the Pasar Tradisional Cijerah Bandung about Islamic business ethics. The research method used by the researcher is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research research obtained first, there are Islamic business ethics principles that must be applied by traders, that is: honest on the scale, selling halal goods, and good quality, do not hide defects in goods, don't swear, not rival friends, Loose and generous, record debts, prohibition of usury, and advice on tithe, second, the behavior of traders in Pasar Tradisional Cijerah Bandung is not yet in accordance with the principles of Islamic business ethics, third, the awareness of traders in Pasar Tradisional Cijerah that traders are not aware of Islamic business ethics.Keywords: Islamic Business Ethics, Trader Awareness, Cijerah Traditional Market.Abstrak. Jual beli sudah ada pada zaman Rasulullah, banyak dalil Quran dan Hadist yang membahas mengenai etika bisnis dalam Islam. hal tersebut menjadi acuan bagi seorang muslim untuk menjalankan usahanya. Akan tetapi faktanya banyak terjadi kecurangan yang dilakukan oleh pedagang, salah satunya di Pasar Tradisional Cijerah Bandung. Maka, peneliti melakukan penelitian terhadap kesadaran yang dimiliki oleh para pedagang terhadap etika bisnis Islam. Adapun rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah pertama, bagaimana jual beli menurut etika bisnis Islam, kedua, bagaimana praktek berdagang pedagang di Pasar Tradisional Cijerah kota Bandung, ketiga, bagaimana kesadaran pedagang pasar tradisional Cijerah Bandung tentang etika bisnis Islam. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskripstif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian penelitian yang diperoleh pertama, ada prinsip-prinsip etika bisnis Islam yang harus diterapkan oleh pedagang yaitu: Jujur dalam timbangan, menjual barang halal, dan baik mutunya, tidak menyembunyikan cacat barang, tidak bersumpah, tidak menyaingi kawan, Longgar dan murah hati, mencatat utang-piutang, larangan riba, dan anjuran berzakat, kedua, perilaku pedagang di Pasar Cijerah Bandung belum sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip etika bisnis Islam, ketiga, kesadaran pedagang di Pasar Cijerah bahwa para pedagang tidak sadar mengenai etika bisnis Islam.Kata Kunci: : Etika Bisnis Islam, Kesadaran Pedagang, Pasar Tradisional Cijerah Bandung
