dc.description Abstract. Indonesian criminal procedure law is a law that regulates the procedure of law (litigation in the judicial body) within the scope of criminal law. While in the Criminal Procedure Code (Law No. 8 of 1981), there is no explanation about what the criminal procedure law is, but in the procedural law, there is a judicial body that has the authority of each judiciary under the Supreme Court, namely general courts, religious courts, military courts, state administrative events. Each court has its own authority to examine, decide and adjudicate cases. The method used in this research is normative juridical approach. Based on the results of research and discussion that has been discussed in this research, the authors draw the conclusion that the parties who litigation included in the criminal law can submit to the court authorized to judge the case that has been regulated in the Criminal Procedure Law No. 8 of 1981 and if the parties are not satisfied with the judge's decision, then the parties may propose a possible remedy. If the decision has been giveb to the parties, it has obtained a permanent or binding legal force.Keywords: Criminal Procedural Law, Judicial Body, Remedies.Abstrak. Hukum acara pidana Indonesia adalah hukum yang mengatur tentang tata cara beracara (berperkara di badan peradilan) dalam lingkup hukum pidana. Sedangkan dalam Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Acara Pidana (Undang-Undang No 8 Tahun 1981), tidak dijelaskan apakah hukum acara pidana itu. Tetapi didalam hukum acara terdapat badan peradilan yang mempunyai kewenangan masing-masing badan peradilan yang berada dibawah Mahkamah Agung yaitu peradilan umum, peradilan agama, peradilan militer, peradian  tata usaha negara. Masing-masing peradilan itu mempunyai kewenangan tersendiri untuk memeriksa, memutus dan mengadili perkara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan yuridis normatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah diurainkan pada penelitian ini, maka penulis menarik kesimpulan bahwa para pihak yang berperkara yang termasuk kedalam hukum pidana dapat mengajukan kepada peradilan yang berwenang untuk mengadili perkara tersebut yang telah diatur dalam Undang-Undang Hukum Acara Pidana No. 8 Tahun 1981 dan apabila para pihak tidak puas dengan putusan hakim, maka para pihak dapat mengajukan suatu upaya hukum yang dapat dilakukan. Apabila putusan itu telah diberikan pada para pihak maka putusan tersebut telah memperoleh kekuatan hukum tetap atau mengikat.Kata kunci: Hukum Acara Pidana, Badan Peradilan, Upaya Hukum.
