Abstract. Balitbang road pavement employees have a high risk work accidents, but the willingness to wear personal protect equipments is still currently low. Employees are aware that PPE is essential for them, but the other hand they still find this as a challenge. They also consider to what senior have said about importance of PPE, but some employees think that experience more instead. Objectives of this research is to obtain quantitative data to usage of PPE also to figure out the determinant role PPE’s intention. This research used physicologycal scale based on Theory of Planned Behavior of Ajzen and Fishbein with 0.880 value for relialibility measuring instrument. Technique for analyzing data is using some multiples regression analysis. All subjects research is 22 employees. The result show that three of intention determinant have a significant level of intention with value of 66.8% (R2 = 0,668). Partially, most significant is Attitude Toward Behavior with value of 0,780 (78%).Keywords : Attitude Toward Behavior, Subjective Norms, Perceived Behavioral Control, Pusjatan Abstrak. Pegawai Balitbang Perkerasan Jalan Pusjatan memiliki resiko kecelakaan kerja tinggi, namun keinginan untuk menggunakan Alat Pelindung diri dengan lengkap masih rendah. Para pegawai menganggap bahwa APD merupakan hal yang penting dan bermanfaat, tetapi di sisi lain mengenakan APD juga merupakan suatu beban. Pegawai juga mengatakan sering teringat pesan pensiunan untuk mengenakan APD, namun beberapa pegawai menganggap bahwa pengalaman lebih penting dalam bekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data mengenai intensi penggunaan APD dan untuk mengetahui peranan determinan intensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala psikologi berdasarkan Theory of Planned Behavior dari Ajzen dan Fishbein dengan nilai reliabilitas alat ukur sebesar 0,880. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 22 orang. Hasil menunjukkan ketiga determinan intensi memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap intensi sebesar 66,8% (R2 = 0,668). Secara parsial determinan yang memberikan pengaruh paling signifikan adalah Attitude Toward Behavior sebesar 0,780 (78%).Kata kunci : Attitude Toward Behavior, Subjective Norms, Perceived Behavioral Control, Pusjatan |
