Abstract. Cigarette contains dangerous toxics that cause various diseases both for active smokers and third-hand smokers. The percentage of active smokers in Indonesia has reached 46.16% which number is almost close to the half of the total population (quoted by Rosadi 2014 and Pirnando, 2015). Smokers assume that smoking is a part of themselves and assume that smoking is a necessity so that they are difficult to get away from cigarettes. But they also want to break away from not smoking or stop smoking it's just that they feel difficulties and confusion to stop smoking strategies. The existence of this phenomenon is necessary to know the smoker identity of smokers. The results of this study there are factors forming smoker identity, it is necessary to study the literature about smoker identity.Keywords: Smoker identity, Cigarettes,College Student, MeasurementAbtrak. Rokok merupakan benda yang sangat membahayakan karena dapat menyebabkan banyak penyakit bagi para perokok aktif maupun perokok pasif. Namun, pada kenyataannya perokok aktif di Indonesia sangat banyak yaitu berjumlah 46,16% dari jumlah populasi. (dalam, Rosadi 2014 dan Pirnando 2014). Para perokok menganggap bahwa rokok adalah bagian dari dirinya dan menganggap bahwa rokok adalah suatu kebutuhan sehingga meraka sulit untuk melepaskan diri dari rokok. Namun mereka juga ingin melepaskan diri untuk tidak merokok atau berhenti merokok hanya saja mereka merasa kesulitan dan kebingungan untuk melakukan strategi berhenti merokok. Adanya fenomena tersebut maka perlu mengetahui smoker identity para perokok. Hasil dari penelitian ini terdapat faktor-faktor pembentuk smoker identity, maka perlu dikaji literatur tentang smoker identity.Kata Kunci: Smoker identity, Rokok, Mahasiswa, Pengukuran. |
