Studi Deskriptif Gratitude pada Guru Honorer di SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi

dc.description Abstract. SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi is one of the private schools in Cimahi city with the number of teachers with honorary status is greater than the number of permanent teachers. The unbalanced teaching hour and income become an obstacle for teachers teaching in the school. However, these constraints are perceived as positive for most teachers in SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi, where they perceive as an emotion which in this case is called Gratitude. This research was conducted to obtain empirical data about the picture of Gratitude and the factors that affect the gratitude felt to the honorary teachers in SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi. This study is a population study conducted on all honorary teachers in SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi which amounted to 32 people and using descriptive method with Gratitude measuring tool derived from the theory of McCullogh made by the researchers themselves with a range of validity of 0.314 - 0.706 and reliability of 0.922. The results of this study showed that 75% of teachers being honorary to teach in SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi belonging to the category with high Gratitude and 25% other belonging to the low Gratitude category. The dominant dimensions of high Gratitude are Intensity, Span, Frequency and Density. While the factors that influence the level of gratitude of honorary teachers in Pasundan 1 Cimahi Middle School are religiosity.Keywords: Gratitude, Master Honorer, SMP Pasundan 1 CimahiAbstrak. SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi adalah salah satu sekolah swasta di kota Cimahi dengan jumlah guru yang berstatus honorer yang lebih besar dibandingkan jumlah guru tetap. Tantangan mengajar dan pendapatan yang tidak seimbang menjadi sebuah kendala bagi guru yang mengajar di sekolah tersebut. Namun kendala-kendala tersebut dipersepsikan sebagai hal yang positif bagi sebagian besar guru di SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi, dimana mereka mempersepsikan sebagai sebuah emosi kebersyukuran yang dalam hal ini disebut sebagai Gratitude. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh data empiris mengenai gambaran Gratitude dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kebersyukuran yang dirasakan pada guru honorer di SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi. Penelitian ini merupakan studi populasi yang dilakukan pada seluruh guru honorer di SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi yang berjumlah 32 orang dan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan alat ukur Gratitude turunan dari teori McCullogh yang dibuat oleh peneliti sendiri dengan rentang validitas 0,314 – 0,706 dan reliabilitas 0,922. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan 75% guru honorer yang mengajar di SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi tergolong pada kategori dengan Gratitude yang tinggi dan 25% lainnya tergolong pada kategori Gratitude rendah. Dimensi dominan pada Gratitude tinggi adalah Intensity, Span, Frequency dan Density. Sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat gratitude guru honorer di SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi adalah religiusitas.Kata Kunci: Gratitude, Guru Honorer, SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi
