Abstract. At present the internet really provides convenience for the community including as a source of information, entertainment and communication facilities. But in reality the internet has a negative impact on society in the form of pornographic sites. Cybersex occurs when individuals use the internet as a medium for sexual satisfaction. Cybersex is common among students, not least for university X students in the city of Bandung who have a curiosity about religion deeper, have faith in their religion and perform worship regularly that describes the student's religiosity. This study aims to obtain data on the relationship of religiosity with cybersex behavior in X university students in the city of Bandung. The theoretical concepts used in this study are the concepts of religiosity theory from Huber and Huber (2012) and the concept of cybersex behavior theory from Delmonico and Miller (2003). The analytical method used is the Product Moment correlational technique with a sample of 198 people who were netted using cluster sampling techniques. The results showed a correlation of -0.297, there was a negative relationship between religiosity and cybersex behavior. This means that the higher the religiosity, the lower the cybersex behavior. Conversely the lower religiosity, the cybersex behavior will be higher.Keywords: Religiosity, Cybersex Behavior, Students Abstrak. Saat ini internet sangat memberikan kemudahan untuk masyarakat diantaranya sebagai sumber informasi, hiburan maupun sarana komunikasi. Tetapi pada kenyaaannya internet memiliki dampak negatif bagi masyarakat berupa adanya situs-situs pornografi. Cybersex terjadi ketika individu menggunakan internet sebagai media untuk mendapatkan kepuasan seksual. Cybersex banyak terjadi pada kalangan mahasiswa, tidak terkecuali pada mahasiswa universitas X di kota Bandung yang memiliki keingintahuan tentang agama lebih dalam, memiliki keyakinan terhadap agamanya dan melakukan ibadah secara rutin yang menggambarkan religiusitas mahasiswa tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai hubungan religiusitas dengan perilaku cybersex pada mahasiswa universitas X di Kota Bandung. Konsep teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep teori religiusitas dari Huber dan Huber (2012) dan konsep teori perilaku cybersex dari Delmonico dan Miller (2003). Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah dengan teknik korelasional Product Moment dengan jumlah sampel 198 orang yang dijaring menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan korelasi sebesar -0.297, terdapat hubungan negatif antara religiusitas dengan perilaku cybersex. Artinya semakin tinggi religiusitas, maka semakin rendah perilaku cybersex. Sebaliknya semakin rendah religiusitas, maka perilaku cybersex akan semakin tinggi.Kata Kunci: Religiusitas, Perilaku Cybersex, Mahasiswa |
