Abstract. SMK Karya Pembangunan is a vocational school which has good academic achievement in local and national area, in its education which obliges students majoring in engineering technology to make work tool such as hammer and hammer cem (press machine), report of machine maintenance and automation but in the task is often there are students who do not do the task when the task is a priority task so that students get grades to rise class. Students have been considered cognitively able to enter into the department. Based on the results of interviews students feel doubt about their ability to do the task. But not all students feel the obstacles in doing the task. This research method uses correlation with the subject of 25 students. Data collection using questionnaires consisting of 41 items of questions designed from Self Efficacy variables based on the theoretical concepts of Bandura (1997). 46 item questions of the Procrastination variable based on the theoretical concepts of Ferrari (1995) and the two variables prepared by the researcher. The results of data collection, obtained the results there is a negative relationship between Self Efficacy with procrastination in the 11th grade students of SMK Karya Pembangunan (-0.644). High degree of degree based on r table with amount of n = 25 equal (0,3365). Of the 3 aspects of Self Efficacy all have a high degree of correlation with magnitude on Generality with Procrastination (-0.641), Level with Procrastination (-0.642), and Strength with Procrastination (-0.633).Keywords: Self Efficacy, Procrastination, 11th grader of SMKAbstrak. SMK Karya Pembangunan merupakan sekolah kejuruan yang memilik prestasi yang baik dalam hal akademik didaerah dan nasional, dalam pendidikan nya yang mewajibkan siswa jurusan teknik rekayasa teknologi untuk membuat alat kerja berupa palu martil dan klem c (mesin press), laporan perawatan mesin dan otomasi namun dalam tugas tersebut seringkali ada siswa yang tidak mengerjakan tugas tersebut padahal tugas tersebut merupakan tugas prioritas agar siswa mendapatkan nilai agar naik kelas.Padahal siswa sudah dianggap mampu secara kognitif untuk masuk kedalam jurusan itu. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara siswa merasa ragu akan kemampuannya dalam mengerjakan tugas. Namun tidak seluruhnya siswa merasakan adanya kendala dalam mengerjakan tugas. Metoda penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi dengan subjek sebanyak 25 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 41 item pertanyaan yang dirancang dari variabel Self Efficacy berdasarkan konsep teori dari Bandura (1997). 46 item pertanyaan dari variabel Prokrastinasi berdasarkan konsep teori dari Ferrari (1995) dan kedua variabel disusun oleh peneliti. Hasil dari pengumpulan data, diperoleh hasil ada hubungan negatif antara Self Efficacy dengan prokrastinasi pada siswa kelas 11 SMK Karya Pembangunan (-0.644). Tingkat Derajat tinggi berdasarkan r tabel dengan jumlah n=25 sebesar (0,3365). Dari 3 aspek Self Efficacy seluruhnya memiliki derajat korelasi tinggi yaitu dengan besaran pada Generality dengan Prokrastinasi (-0.641), Level dengan Prokrastinasi (-0.642), dan Strength dengan Prokrastinasi (-0.633).Kata kunci: Self Efficacy, Prokrastinasi, siswa kelas 11 SMK |
