When the condition deteriorate, they are not giving up easily and trying not to be driven to despair. This study objective is to collect empirical data about how close the correlation between social support and resilience of thalassemia major patient in Santosa Hospital Bandung. This study approach is using statistical calculation of coefficient correlation test, Rank Spearman Method. This study also involving 36 people who suffer thalassemia major dissease. Researcher using questioner as a main instrument that adopted from Sarafino (2002) and Reivich & Shatte (2002) theory. The result of this study shows a positive correlation value of 0,724 which mean that there is strong correlation between social support and resilience. Keywords: Thalassemia Major, Social Support, ResilienceAbstrak.
