dc.description Darul Ilmi elementary school is an Islamic institution with goal to prepare believer, bookish, noble character generation, with Quran and sunnah as handbooks to build a qualified education of Islam, develop potency, ability and prosperity of Human resources. Students of full-day school generally spend 8-9 hours in school with the result that they easily feel tired and depressed. In fact in the late childhood, the children are anxious for playing with coeval friends. Students in class VI have a high demand of to be a performance students and academic burden that makes them mainly focus on their achievement. The objective of this study is to describe children’s well-being on students on class VI of Darul Ilmi full-day school Bandung. The instrument used is a questionnaire of children well-being arranged by Diener’s subjective well-being and modified by ISCWeb seen from 8 domains; satisfaction with material thing, satisfaction with interpersonal relationship, satisfaction with area living in, satisfaction with health, satisfaction with time organization, home satisfaction, satisfaction with school, and personal satisfaction. The dominant domains are 100% satisfaction of satisfaction with material things, satisfaction with area living in, satisfaction with school, satisfaction with health and personal satisfaction domains. And the low dominant domain is 60% satisfaction of satisfaction with time organization domain.
dc.description Sekolah swasta Darul Ilmi adalah salah satu lembaga islam yang kegiatan pendidikannya bergerak di bidang pendidikan Sekolah Dasar yang bertujuan menyiapkan generasi penerus yang beriman, berilmu, dan berakhlak mulia dengan berpedoman pada Al-Quran dan Sunnah membangun lembaga pendidikan islam yang berkualitas, mengembangkan potensi, kemampuan dan kesejahteraan sumber daya manusia. Dalam pelaksanaannya SD Darul Ilmi menerapkan sistem full-day school. Full day school merupakan program pendidikan yang lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu anak di sekolah. Anak biasanya menghabiskan sekitar 5 jam perhari, tetapi dengan penerapan full day school, anak harus di sekolah sampai 8 atau 9 jam perhari sehingga akan membuat anak menjadi cepat lelah dan rentan terkena stres. Sedangkan usia masa kanak akhir (late childhood), anak ingin lebih banyak meluangkan waktu dengan melakukan permainan dengan teman-teman sebayanya. Siswa-siswi yang berada di kelas VI ini memiliki beberapa tuntutan yaitu siswa harus berprestasi dan memiliki beban akademik yang membuat mereka lebih banyak mengejar prestasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran children well-being pada siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar full-day Darul Ilmi Bandung. Pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner childrens  well-being dari teori Subjective well-being Diener, kemudian dimodifikasi oleh ISCWeb yang dilihat dari 8 domain, yaitu satisfaction with material thing, satisfaction with interpersonal relationship, satisfaction with area living in, satisfaction with health, satisfaction with time organization, home satisfaction, satisfaction with school, dan personal satisfaction. Domain yang dominan dimaknakan puas atau memperoleh nilai 100% adalah pada domain satisfaction with material things, satisfaction with area living in, satisfaction with school, satisfaction with health dan personal satisfaction. Sedangkan domain yang dominan rendah dimaknakan puas atau memperoleh nilai 60% adalah domain satisfaction with time organization.
