Many parents of class VI students in SDN Pelesiran Bandung have low economic and educational background. Uneducated parents fully hand their children’s education over their school teachers. The parents donot try to implement what the teachers have taught to their children. Based on the interview with 6 students that they are not really close to their parents because they are busy with their work so the children are happy to spend time in school with their friends. the objective of this study to obtain empirical data about children well-being domains on students of class VI in SDN Pelesiran Bandung. The method used is descriptive study with 20 students as the sample. The data collecting technique used is by providing a questionnaire of children well-being that contains 8 domains of life satisfaction based on the theory subjective well-being of Diener and rearranged by UNICEF. The results show that in some domains there are the most dominant domains; interpersonal relationship satisfaction, school satisfaction, health satisfcation (100%) and the lowest are time organization satisfaction (85%), it means that in the most dominant domains students are satisfied with their lives. |

SD Negeri Pelesiran Bandung pada anak kelas 6, banyak orang tua murid yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan dan status ekonomi yang rendah. Orang tua yang tidak mengerti mengenai pendidikan menyerahkan seluruh pendidikan anak – anak mereka pada guru – guru yang berada disekolah. Dirumah orang tua tidak berusaha mencoba untuk menerapkan apa yang sudah diajarkan disekolah kepada anak. Banyak orang tua yang tidak menghadiri rapat orang tua. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara kepada 6 siswa baik laki – laki atau perempaun anak merasa kurang dekat dengan kedua orang tuanya karena kedua orang tuanya sibuk bekerja. Anak merasa senang saat berada disekolah dan bertemu dengan teman – temannya. Pada saat dirumah anak merasa kurang puas dalam penggunaan waktu luangnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data empiris mengenai gambaran domain – domain children well-being pada anak kelas 6 di SD Negeri Pelesiran Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi deskriptif dengan jumlah subyek 20 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner children well-being yang berisi item – item berupa pernyataan mengenai 8 domain life satisfaction berdasarkan teori subjective well-being dari Diener yang disusun ulang oleh UNICEF. Hasilnya diolah menggunakan microsoft excel for windows. Hasil diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa di beberapa domain terdapat domain – domain yang paling dominan, interpersonal relationship satisfaction, school satisfaction, health satisfcation (100%) dan yang paling rendah time organization satisfaction (85%), artinya pada domain paling dominan anak merasa sejahtera dengan kehidupannya. |
