dc.description Abstract. In the field of cosmetic formulation, the dyestuff mixed into the formula for making the cosmetics are dyes from chemicals and dyes from nature. Public awareness regarding the dangers of chemical-based cosmetic product makes them tend to choose a product derived from a natural ingredients that are safer for the skin. Then, a safe blush on cosmetic product is needed and have benefit in accordance to its use. Formulated is whether the betalain natural coloring from beetroot can be used as blush on cream natural coloring. The researcher made the extract by maceration, maserate was concentrated with an evaporator rotary vaccum. The stability of color pigment was tested for the temperature (pigment changes color at 100°C  and light (no color change). Base optimization was then carried out, the selected base cream is formula 1 which will then be added beetroot extract as natural coloring by 5%,7% and 9%. Evaluation of dosage included organoleptic test, centrifugation test, pH test, freeze thaw test, dispersion test and hedonic test, the results of formula 3 were most preferred by the panelist in terms of color, texture, and ease of application.Keywords: Cream, Blush on Cream, Beetroot.Abstrak. Dalam bidang formulasi kosmetika, zat warna yang dicampurkan kedalam formula pembuatan kosmetik adalah pewarna dari bahan kimia dan pewarna dari alam. Kesadaran masyarakat tentang bahaya produk kosmetik berbahan kimia membuat mereka cenderung memilih produk berasal dari bahan- bahan alami yang lebih aman untuk kulit. Maka dibutuhkan suatu produk kosmetik blush on yang aman dan mempunyai manfaat yang sesuai dengan penggunaannya, apakah pewarna alami betalain dari umbi bit dapat dijadikan sebagai pewarna alami sediaan blush on cream. Peneliti melakukan pembuatan ekstrak dengan cara maserasi, maserat dipekatkan dengan rotary vaccum evaporator. Dilakukan uji stabilitas pigmen warna terhadap suhu (pigmen berubah warna pada suhu 100°C dan cahaya (tidak terjadi perubahan warna). Selanjutnya dilakukan optimasi basis, basis krim terpilih yaitu formula 1 yang selanjutnya akan ditambahkan ekstrak umbi bit sebagai pewarna alami yaitu 5%, 7% dan 9%. Dilakukan evaluasi sediaan meliputi uji organoleptik, uji sentrifugasi, uji pH, uji freeze thaw, uji daya sebar dan uji hedonik. Didapatkan hasil formula 3 yang paling disukai oleh panelis baik dari segi warna, tekstur, dan kemudahan pengaplikasian.Kata Kunci: Krim, Blush On Cream, Umbi Bit
