Abstract. The mangrove forest is a natural resource which is very potensional. The town of North Maluku province, the tourist area of Mangrove Forests are located in the village of the subdistrict Guraping Oba Utara. Problems occurred experienced by the tourist area of mangrove forests in Keluraha Guraping is a logging damage has taken place by the community, employers or Government project. In this case it is a destructive development mangrove forest area is the conversion of mangroves into fishponds area, settlements, and the expansion of the port. Need for a study to formulate development strategies of mangrove forests to support tourism activities in Keluarhan Guraping. The purpose of the research is to identify the socio-economic conditions of communities in mangrove forest sektiran, analyzing the condition of capacity of mangrove forest area and Formulating development strategies of mangrove forests as area of ecotourism. The method of approach in use is Partisipatory Planning, analytical methods that are in use are qualitative and quantitative. Based on the research results then the author received and propose the main concept in the development of community-based ecotourism that is by giving the concept a fun and friendly environment with the five elements concept, namely the provision of facilities and infrastructure supporting tourism, tourist society empowerment, promotion through social media, tours present and awarding the appropriate attractions by giving the direction of community-based ecotourism development in accordance with the fifth concept the main.Keywords: Ecotourism, Economy, Social Community, Mangrove, Village Guraping Abstrak. Hutan mangrove merupakan sumberdaya alam yang sangat potensional.Kota Provinsi Maluku Utara, area Wisata Hutan Mangrove terletak di Kelurahan Guraping Kecamatan Oba Utara. Permasalahan yang terjadi dialami oleh kawasan wisata hutan mangrove di Keluraha Guraping adalah telah terjadi kerusakan akibat penebangan oleh masyarakat, pengusaha maupun proyek pemerintah. Dalam hal ini adalah pembangunan yang merusak kawasan hutan mangrove adalah konversi mangrove menjadi kawasan permukiman, areal tambak, dan perluasan pelabuhan. Perlu adanya suatu studi untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan hutan mangrove untuk mendukung kegiatan pariwisata di Keluarhan Guraping. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu Mengidentifikasi kondisi sosial-ekonomi masyarakat di sektiran hutan mangrove, Menganalisis kondisi daya tampung kawasan hutan mangrove dan Merumuskan strategi pengembangan hutan mangrove sebagai kawasan ekowisata. Metode pendekatan yang di gunakan adalah Partisipatory Planning, metode analisis yang di gunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka penulis memperolah dan mengusulkan konsep utama dalam pengambangan ekowisata berbasis masyarakat yaitu dengan memberikan konsep wisata yang menyenangkan dan ramah lingkungan dengan lima unsur konsep utama yaitu penyediaan sarana dan prasarana pendukung wisata, pemberdayaan masyarakat mengenai wisata, promosi melalui media sosial, wisata kekinian dan pemberian atraksi yang sesuai dengan memberikan arahan pengembangan ekowisata berbasis masyarakat sesuai dengan kelima konsep utama tersebut.Kata Kunci: Ekowisata, Ekonomi, Sosial Masyarakat, Mangrove, Kelurahan Guraping |
