Abstract. Coal WaterMixture (CWM) and Coal Oil Mixture (COM) are a mixture of coal with water and coal with oil in a certain ratio, after which additive is added to obtain mixed stability and good flow properties of CWM and COM. The solid percent of COM by using Low Rank Coal (LRC) from Pendopo is higher than CWM, at the same viscosity (1000 mPas), CWM is 60,195%, while COM is 65,381%. In the upgrading coal used process Hot Water Drying (HWD) from Pendopo, solid percent of COM is lower than CWM, at viscosity 1000 mPas COM is 63,939%, while CWM is 65,456%. Based on the economic calculation to get 1 ton CWM or COM, COM gives bigger profit. The processing cost of 1 ton CWM is Rp 414.916,05 with profit Rp 3.177.399,95. Persen solid dari COM dengan menggunakan batubara peringkat rendah asal Pendopo lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan CWM, pada viskositas yang sama (1000 mPas), CWM adalah 60,195%, sedangkan COM adalah 65,381%. Pada batubara hasil upgrading dengan proses Hot Water Drying (HWD) asal Pendopo, persen solid COM lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan CWM, pada viskositas 1000 mPas COM adalah 63,939 %, sedangkan CWM adalah 65,456 %. Berdasarkan perhitungan keekonomisan untuk mendapatkan 1 ton CWM atau COM, COM memberikan keuntungan yang lebih besar. Biaya proses 1 ton CWM adalah sebesar Rp 414.916,05 dengan keuntungan Rp 3.177.399,95.
