dc.description Abstract. The research was conducted in Pit Roto Selatan PT Pamapersada Nusantara Jobsite Kideco Jaya Agung. Pit Roto Selatan applies stripping mine method, so that the Pit Roto Selatan shape extends from north to south. Based on the daily report on March 19, 2018 there was heavy rain, causing water in the sump in coal block area D2  to overflow and water to pool in coal block area E1 which was in the process of land clearing. Necessary to evaluate the drainage system and control of water entering the pond. The water discharge that enters the Pit Roto Selatan at a 5-year rain return period is 18.06 m3 / sec by bringing sediment by 10%. In Pit Roto Selatan have 3 sumps, it is Sump D2, E1 and 3F. Sump D2 holds water from 50% of the area Pit Roto Selatan. Sediment volume in the pond reaches 3,281,285 m3 at an elevation of -123 mdpl. While the maximum volume that can be accommodated by the pond is 4,507,170 m3 at an elevation of -120 mdpl. Channels are made to prevent water from entering the coal block mining area. The moat also functions to direct water to the sump. The 8 channels made trapezoidal shape with a slope in the channel at 63.4 °. Channel 1, 2, 3 and 4 enter into Sump D2. Channel 5 and 6 enter into Sump E1 while Channel 7 and 8 enter into Sump 3F. Tackling the water that enters the pond is carried out by pumping using Multiflo MF-420EX Pump and the help of 8/6 AH Horizontal Pump Booster Booster which works for 22 hours with a pumping discharge of 792 m3 / hour. Pumping is done regularly with different working hours every month.Keywords: Water Discharge, Channel Dimention, Dewatering, Pump, Sump Capacity.Abstrak. Penelitian dilakukan di Pit Roto Selatan PT Pamapersada Nusantara Jobsite Kideco Jaya Agung. Pit Roto Selatan menerapkan metode penambangan stripping mine, sehingga bentuk Pit Roto Selatan memanjang dari utara ke selatan. Bedasarkan laporan harian pada 19 Maret 2018 terjadi hujan deras, sehingga menyebabkan air pada sump di area block batubara D2 meluap dan air menggenang di area block batubara E1 yang sedang dalam proses pembersihan lahan. Dengan demikian perlu dilakukan evaluasi sistem penyaliran dan penanggulangan air yang masuk ke kolam. Debit air yang masuk ke Pit Roto Selatan pada periode ulang hujan 5 tahun sebesar 18,06 m3/detik dengan membawa sedimen sebesar 10%. Terdapat 3 sump pada Pit Roto Selatan yaitu Sump D2, E1 dan 3F. Sump D2 menampung air dari 50% luas Pit Roto Selatan. Volume sedimen pada kolam mencapai 3.281.285 m3 pada elevasi -123 mdpl. Sedangkan volume maksimum yang dapat ditampung oleh kolam adalah 4.507.170 m3 pada elevasi -120 mdpl. Paritan dibuat untuk mencegah air masuk ke area penambangan block batubara. Paritan juga berfungsi untuk mengarahkan air langsung menuju sump. Paritan dibuat sebanyak 8 saluran dibuat bentuk trapesium dengan kemiringan diding saluran sebesar 63,4°. Paritan 1, 2, 3 dan 4 masuk ke dalam Sump D2. Paritan 5 dan 6 masuk ke dalam Sump E1 sedangkan paritan 7 dan 8 masuk ke dalam Sump 3F. Penanggulangan air yang masuk ke kolam dilakukan dengan cara pemompaan menggunakan Pompa Multiflo MF-420EX dan bantuan Booster Warman Horizontal Pump 8/6 AH yang bekerja selama 22 jam dengan debit pemompaan 792 m3/jam. Pemompaan dilakukan secara berkala dengan waktu kerja yang berbeda setiap bulannya.Kata Kunci: Debit Air, Dimensi Paritan, Sistem Dewatering, Pemompaan, Kapasitas Sump.
