dc.description Abstract. To optimize the production of coal mines in PT Bukit Intan Indoperkasa, there are a few things to concern. One of the things it does is technical design of sequence and schedulling in coal mining. This study will analyze the short term planning from pit sequence design which will be evaluated every mounth. In this case it will be designed pit sequence for the mounth of April, Mei, June 2017. The results of design sequence in April obtained stripping ratio value is 1:3,04. While the results of design sequence in Mei obtained stripping ratio value is 1:2,99. And the results of design sequence in June obtained stripping ratio value is 1:3,02. From these results it can be seen that design sequence for the mounth of April, Mei, and June still in accordance with the limitation stripping ratio value established of 1:3,0 by PT Bukit Intan Indoperkasa. Production target set by PT Bukit Intan Indoperkasa 750.000 bcm (overburden) and 250.000 tonnes (coal). The results of design sequence in April obtained coal production is 252.627,29 tonnes, with the amount of overburden is 769.366,99 bcm. The results of design sequence in Mei obtained coal production is 271.471,29 tonnes, with the amount of overburden is 813.007,82 bcm. The results of design sequence in June obtained coal production is 253.889,45 tonnes, with the amount of overburden is 768.316,20 bcm. The required fleet in April, the first week 3 fleet OB and 1 fleet Coal, the second week 3 fleet OB and 3 fleet Coal, the third week 2 fleet OB and 2 fleet Coal, whereas the fourth week 1 fleet OB and 1 fleet Coal. The required fleet in Mei, the first week 3 fleet OB and 1 fleet Coal, the second week 3 fleet OB and 1 fleet Coal, the third week 3 fleet OB and 1 fleet Coal, whereas the fourth week 2 fleet OB and 4 fleet Coal. The required fleet in June, the first week 3 fleet OB and 1 fleet Coal, the second week 2 fleet OB and 2 fleet Coal, the third week 2 fleet OB and 2 fleet Coal, whereas the fourth week 3 fleet OB and 2 fleet Coal.Keywords: Design Sequence Monthly, Stripping Ratio, Production Target, FleetAbstrak. Dalam rangka mengoptimalisasi produksi penambangan batubara di PT Bukit Intan Indoperkasa, terdapat beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan. Salah satu hal yang dilakukan adalah perancangan kemajuan tambang (sequence) dan schedulling penambangan batubara. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis perencanaan jangka pendek berupa perancangan pit sequence yang akan dievaluasi setiap bulannya. Dalam hal ini akan dirancang desain pit sequence untuk bulan April, Mei, dan Juni 2017. Hasil dari desain sequence pada bulan April didapatkan nilai stripping ratio sebesar 1:3,04. Sedangkan hasil dari desain sequence pada bulan Mei didapatkan nilai stripping ratio sebesar 1:2,99. Dan hasil dari desain sequence pada bulan Juni didapatkan nilai stripping ratio sebesar 1:3,02. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa desain sequence untuk bulan April, Mei, dan Juni masih sesuai dengan batasan nilai stripping ratio yang ditetapkan oleh PT Bukit Intan Indoperkasa sebesar 1:3,0. Target produksi yang ditetapkan oleh PT Bukit Intan Indoperkasa sebesar 750.000 bcm (overburden) dan 250.000 ton (batubara). Dari hasil desain sequence pada bulan April didapatkan produksi batubara sebesar 252.627,29 ton, dengan jumlah overburden yang akan dikupas sebesar 769.366,99 bcm. Pada bulan Mei didapatkan batubara sebesar 271.417,29 ton, dan overburden sebesar 813.007,82 bcm. Pada bulan Juni didapatkan batubara sebesar 253.889,45 ton, dan overburden sebesar 768.316,20 bcm. Fleet yang dibutuhkan pada bulan April, minggu pertama 3 fleet OB dan 1 fleet Coal, minggu kedua 3 fleet OB dan 3 fleet Coal, minggu ketiga 2 fleet OB dan 2 fleet Coal, sedangkan minggu keempat 1 fleet OB dan 1 fleet Coal.  Fleet yang dibutuhkan pada bulan Mei, minggu pertama 3 fleet OB dan 1 fleet Coal, minggu kedua 3 fleet OB dan 1 fleet Coal, minggu ketiga 3 fleet OB dan 1 fleet Coal, sedangkan minggu keempat 2 fleet OB dan 4 fleet Coal. Fleet yang dibutuhkan pada bulan Juni, minggu pertama 3 fleet OB dan 1 fleet Coal, minggu kedua 2 fleet OB dan 2 fleet Coal, minggu ketiga 2 fleet OB dan 2 fleet Coal, sedangkan minggu keempat 3 fleet OB dan 2 fleet Coal.Kata Kunci: Desain Pentahapan Bulanan, Stripping Ratio, Target Produksi, Fleet
