dc.description Abstract. Human activities related to Mining especially the Open Mine will always face problems with slopes (Slope). The slope should be analyzed for its stability to prevent landslide hazard in the future, as it concerns safety, equipment security, property, and the smoothness of production. In this final project report slope stability will be recommended on the slopes of quarry limestone mine located in Songgom area. Slope stability analysis was conducted using Phase2 6.0 program with Finite Element Method (FEM). The stability analysis of the embankment slopes using the Slide 6.0 program with the equilibrium boundary method, was also employed while for the quarrying analysis using two approached methods of Unconfined Compression Strength (UCS) and PLSI and Joint Spacing in term of rook masses strength properties. The data required for geotechnical modeling for the overall slope and single slope recommendations are weighted content, elastic modulus, poisson ratio, cohesion, deep friction angle and rock tensile strength, while for data disposal modeling that is needed is in the form of weighted data of weight (unit weight) of rock, cohesion and friction angle. For data of analysis of excavation UCS and PLSI data and Joint Spacing are used. The results of the overall slope stability analysis on both types of limestone and refers to the calculation of FK value ≥ 1.5, then the geometry of slope limestone 1 can be recommended with high 70 m slope of 60o while for limestone 2 is recommended with a height of 60 m and slope of 50o. For single slope analyzes on both limestone and FK> 1.5 values for limestone 1 can be recommended with a height of 10 m and slope of 70o, while for batukapur 2 can be recommended with a height of 10 m and  slope of 70o. For the analysis of the stability of the disposal slope with reference to calculation of FK value> 1.5 then it can be recommended the slope with height of 30 m and slope of 200. The result of the analysis of the excavation that was done by UCS method which got the data from the laboratory test result showed the UCS value ranged from 0.28 to 21.93 MPa then the mass of the rock in the category between the moderate - blasting, while the analysis was done by the method PLSI field test results show numbers ranging from 0.3 to 1.0 MPa and for Joint Spacing rock mass ranged from 0.20 m to 0.60 m, then it can be stated to be in the category between moderate - blasting.Keywords: Overall Slope, Single Slope, Slope Wastedump, and CapabilityAbstrak. Aktivitas manusia yang berhubungan dengan Tambang khususnya Tambang Terbuka akan selalu menghadapi permasalahan dengan lereng (Slope). Lereng tersebut harus dianalisis kemantapannya untuk mencegah bahaya longsor di waktu-waktu yang akan datang, karena menyangkut keselamatan kerja, keamanan peralatan, harta benda, dan kelancaran produksi. Pada laporan tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan rekomendasi stabilitas lereng pada lereng tambang kuari batugamping yang terletak di daerah Songgom. Analisis kestabilan lereng tambang menggunakan program Phase2 6.0 dengan Metode Elemen Hingga (FEM). Analisis stabilitas lereng timbunan menggunakan program Slide 6.0 dengan metode kesetimbangan batas, sedangkan untuk analisis kemampuan-galian menggunakan dua metode pendekatan yaitu Unconfined Compression Strength (UCS) dan PLSI serta Joint Spacing. Data yang diperlukan untuk pemodelan geoteknik untuk rekomendasi lereng keseluruhan dan lereng tunggal ini yaitu berupa data bobot isi, modulus elastisitas, poisson ratio, kohesi, sudut gesek dalam dan kuat tarik batuan. Sedangkan untuk permodelan disposal data yang diperlukan yaitu berupa data bobot isi (unit weight) batuan, kohesi dan sudut gesek. Untuk analisis kemampugalian digunakan data UCS  dan PLSI serta Joint Spacing. Hasil analisis stabilitas lereng keseluruhan pada kedua jenis batukapur serta mengacu perhitungan nilai FK  1,5 maka geometri lereng batukapur 1 dapat di rekomendasikan dengan tinggi 70 m kemiringan 60o sedangkan untuk batu kapur 2 direkomendasikan dengan tinggi 60 m kemiringan 50o. Untuk analalisis lereng tunggal pada kedua jenis batu kapur serta mengacu nilai FK > 1,5 maka untuk batu kapur 1 dapat direkomendasikan dengan tinggi 10 m kemiringan 70o sedangkan untuk batukapur 2 dapat direkomendasikan dengan tinggi 10 m kemiringan 70o. Untuk analisis stabilitas lereng disposal dengan mengacu perhitungan nilai FK > 1,5 maka dapat di rekomendasikan lereng dengan tinggi 30 m serta kemiringan 20o. Hasil analisis kemampu-galian yang di lakukan dengan metode UCS yang di dapatkan data dari hasil uji laboratorium menunjukan nilai UCS berkisar antara 0,28 – 21,93 MPa maka massa batuan dalam kategori antara penggaruan – peledakan sedang, sedangkan analisis yang di lakukan dengan metode PLSI hasil uji lapangan menunjukan angka berkisar antara 0,3 – 1,0 MPa dan untuk Joint Spacing massa batuan berkisar antara 0,20 m – 0,60 m maka dapat dinyatakan berada dalam kategori antara penggaruan – peledakan sedang. Kata Kunci: Lereng Keseluruhan, Lereng Tunggal, Lereng Timbunan, dan Kemampu-Galian
