dc.description Abstract: Along with the rapid development of main road, highway, buildings, housing, runway, and so forth, will certainly increase the demand of supporting materials such as andesite rocks. To overcome the increasing demand of andesite stone. In this case, the mining process until the processing should be noticed as well as possible. The precipitation of andesitic materials especially in West Java has high resource potential, one of which is mined and processed by PT Panghegar Mitra Abadi. The product of PT Panghegar Mitra Abadi processing result is split 1 (30-10) mm, split 2 (10-5) mm and stone ash (5-0) mm. To produce the product is done by processing the andesite stone in the form of size reduction by using tools jaw crusher (primary crusher) and cone crusher (secondary crusher). Problems faced by PT Panghegar Mitra Abadi is the productivity of the tool and the time barriers that occurs in the crushing plant. Currently, the production target of split stones is 550 tons / day, but the company production targets up to 650 tons / day due to the increasing market demand so that more production effort is needed. To increase the split production target from 550 ton / day to 650 ton / day it is necessary to rearrange the CSS (Closed Side Setting) on the crusher machine that is cone secondary crusher. Because in this machine is still available to optimize setting on produce split stone with changed CSS method to increasing production.  There is 3 setting of rearrange CSS are 30 mm, 25 mm, and 20 mm. Data retrieval for 10 days per each CSS setting. Based on the initial setting of CSS (Closed Side Setting) of the secondary crusher, the first CSS arrangement is known as CSS 30 mm resulted in split production 543,76 ton / day with work efficiency equal to 65,38%. For a second CSS rearrangement is 25 mm, resulting a split production of 696.41 ton / day with 8.67% working efficiency. For a third CSS rearrangement of 20 mm, the production of split products was 656.74 tons / day with 81.73% working efficiency.    Keywords: CSS (Closed Side Setting), Crushing Plant, Production, Work Efficiency. Abstract. Seiring dengan berkembangnya pembangunan yang sangat pesat, baik itu pembangunan jalan raya, jalan tol, gedung-gedung, perumahan, lapangan terbang, dan keperluan lain, tentunya akan meningkatkan permintaan bahan penunjang, seperti halnya batuan andesit. Untuk mengatasi permintaan batu andesit yang meningkat, dalam hal ini proses penambangan hingga proses pengolahan harus diperhatikan dengan sebaik mungkin. Endapan bahan galian andesit khususnya di Jawa Barat memiliki potensi sumberdaya yang cukup besar, salah satu diantaranya ditambang dan diolah oleh PT Panghegar Mitra Abadi. Produk dari hasil pengolahan PT Panghegar Mitra Abadi yaitu split 1 (30-10) mm, split 2 (10-5) mm dan abu batu (5-0) mm. Untuk menghasilkan produk tersebut maka dilakukan pengolahan batu andesit berupa pengecilan ukuran dengan alat yang digunakan jaw crusher (primary crusher) dan cone crusher (secondary crusher). Permasalahan yang dialami oleh PT Panghegar Mitra Abadi adalah produktivitas alat serta waktu hambatan yang terjadi pada crushing plant. Pada saat ini target produksi batu split sebanyak 550 ton/hari namun perusahaan menargetkan hasil produksi menjadi 650 ton/hari karena tingkat permintaan pasar meningkat sehingga dibutuhkan upaya peningkatan produksi. Untuk meningkatkan target produksi split dari 550 ton/hari menjadi 650 ton/hari diperlukan pengaturan ulang CSS (Closed Side Setting)  pada alat crusher yaitu pada cone secondary crusher, karena pada alat ini masih dapat dilakukan perubahan berupa pengaturan kembali CSS (Closed Side Setting) guna menunjang tercapainya target produksi yang diharapkan perusahaan.  Pengaturan CSS yang dilaksanakan  sebnayak 3 kali pengtauran yakni CSS 30 mm, CSS 25 mm dan CSS 20 mm. Pengambilan data dilakukan seama 10 hari untuk masing-masing pengaturan CSS. Berdasarkan pengaturan awal CSS (Closed Side Setting) secondary crusher yang telah diterapkan, diketahui pengaturan CSS yang pertama sebesar 30 mm yang menghasilkan produksi split 543,76 ton/hari dengan efisiensi kerja sebesar 65,38 %. Untuk pengaturan ulang CSS yang kedua diketahui sebesar 25 mm, menghasilkan produksi split 696,41 ton/hari dengan efisiensi kerja 84,67 %. Untuk pengaturan ulang CSS yang ketiga yaitu sebesar 20 mm, menghasilkan produksi split 656,74 ton/hari dengan efisiensi kerja 81,73 %.Kata Kunci: CSS (Closed Side Setting), Crushing plant, Produktivitas, Efisiensi Kerja
