Abstract. The importance of the role of human resources in the production activities needs to get special attention from the company, especially in terms of the magnitude of potential accidents and occupational diseases resulting from the types of production activities, technology used, materials used, facilities and work environment and the quality of management and energy- executive staff. The research of this final project is done at Home Industri Teh Gayung which is one of medium industry down that produce instant dry tea product. The problem that occur in the process of packing tea is the operators work repeatedly with long time intensity without the existence of supporting work facilities such as tables and chairs. That condition may pose a risk of injury to the muscles, bones, limbs, and even the disability of the operator. The identification of operator complaints is made using method the Quick Exposure Checklist (QEC) method. The result of identification of the QEC Method gained by the level of action for all operators indicates level 3 which means included in the category of action in the near future so that needs to improve the working position immediately. The improvement of the work position is done by making the design of ergonomic desk and chair facilities using the Anthropometry Method in order to make the work position better, more comfortable and safer than before so, it can reduce and even eliminate the operational risk to the operator.Keywords: Risk Work , QEC, Anthropometry Abstrak. Pentingnya peranan sumber daya manusia dalam kegiatan produksi perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus dari pihak perusahaan, terutama dalam hal besarnya potensi kecelakaan dan penyakit kerja yang diakibatkan dari jenis kegiatan produksi, teknologi yang dipakai, bahan yang digunakan, fasilitas dan lingkungan kerja serta kualitas manajemen dan tenaga-tenaga pelaksana. Penelitian Tugas akhir ini dilakukan di Home industri Teh Gayung yang merupakan salah satu industri menengah kebawah yang menghasilkan produk teh kering siap saji. Permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu pada proses pengemasan teh operator bekerja secara berulang-ulang dengan intensitas waktu yang lama tanpa adanya fasilitas kerja pendukung seperti meja dan kursi. Keadaan tersebut dapat berisiko menimbulkan cedera pada otot, tulang, anggota tubuh, bahkan mungkin mengakibatkan kecacatan bagi operator. Identifikasi keluhan operator tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Quick Exposure Checklist (QEC). Hasil identifikasi Metode QEC diperoleh kategori level tindakan untuk seluruh operator menunjukan level 3 yang berarti termasuk ke dalam kategori tindakan dalam waktu dekat sehingga perlu perbaikan posisi kerja secepatnya. Perbaikan posisi kerja tersebut dilakukan dengan cara membuat rancangan fasilitas kerja berupa meja dan kursi yang ergonomis menggunakan Metode Antropometri dengan tujuan untuk membuat posisi kerja lebih baik, lebih nyaman dan lebih aman dari sebelumnya sehingga dapat mengurangi bahkan menghilangkan risiko kerja terhadap operator.Kata Kunci: Resiko Kerja, QEC, Antropometri |
