Abstract. AP home industry is a company engaged in the production and sale of clothing such as shirts, soccer jersey and shirts. Home Industry AP is always paying attention and trying to improve the quality of products produced by conducting quality control. But in reality there are still products that have defects above the tolerance set by the company that is equal to 3%, as happened in October 2017 to February 2018 it is known that there are five types of defects in t-shirt products namely incompatible sewing defects, stain defects, color defects faded, oblique cut defects and embroidery defects with an average percentage of disability of 5.63%. One effort to reduce disability begins with making a pareto diagram to determine the priority of disability, then the causes of disability are identified by using a causal diagram (fishbone). Furthermore, to get a solution to overcome the disabilities that occur use the method of Theory of Resheniya Izobreatatelskikh Zadatch (TRIZ). The priority of disability that must be resolved immediately based on the Pareto diagram is that the sewing defect is incompatible and the color defect is faded. The cause of this type of sewing disability is not suitable based on the results of the fishbone diagram is the wrong setting of the machine, lack of concentration, lack of precision of the machine, and the absence of sewing SOPs. While the causes of faded color defects are less precise operators, clogged screen tools, and the absence of screening SOPs. Proposed improvements based on the results of the TRIZ method are making sewing machine setting guidelines, supervision forms, instructions in the form of attention points for screen printing paint / ink and screen printing equipment maintenance, changing machine settings periodically and making SOP designs.Keywords: Quality control, quality tools, types of shirt defects, TRIZAbstrak. Home industry AP merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang produksi dan penjualan pakaian seperti kaos, jersey bola dan kemeja. Home Industry AP selalu memperhatikan dan berusaha meningkatkan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan dengan melakukan quality control. Namun pada kenyataannya masih terdapat produk yang mengalami kecacatan diatas toleransi yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan yaitu sebesar 3%, seperti yang terjadi pada bulan Oktober 2017 sampai Februari 2018 diketahui bahwa terdapat lima jenis kecacatan pada produk kaos yaitu cacat jahit tidak sesuai, cacat noda, cacat warna pudar, cacat potong miring dan cacat bordir dengan rata-rata persentase kecacatan sebesar 5,63%. Salah satu upaya mengurangi kecacatan tersebut diawali dengan pembuatan diagram pareto untuk menentukan prioritas kecacatan, kemudian penyebab timbulnya kecacatan diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan diagram sebab akibat (fishbone). Selanjutnya, untuk mendapatkan solusi dalam mengatasi kecacatan yang terjadi digunakan metode Teoriya Resheniya Izobreatatelskikh Zadatch (TRIZ). Prioritas kecacatan yang harus segera diselesaikan berdasarkan diagram pareto adalah yaitu cacat jahit tidak sesuai dan cacat warna pudar. Penyebab dari jenis kecacatan jahit tidak sesuai berdasarkan hasil dari diagram fishbone ialah salah setting mesin, kurang konsentrasi, mesin kurang presisi, dan tidak adanya SOP penjahitan. Sedangkan penyebab cacat warna pudar yaitu operator kurang teliti, alat screen tersumbat, dan tidak adanya SOP penyablonan. Usulan perbaikan berdasarkan hasil dari metode TRIZ adalah membuat panduan setting mesin jahit, form pengawasan, intruksi dalam bentuk attention point pemeriksaan cat/tinta sablon dan perawatan alat sablon, pergantian setting mesin secara berkala dan membuat rancangan SOP.Kata Kunci: Pengendalian kualitas, alat kualitas, jenis-jenis kecacatan kaos, TRIZ
