Abstract. One of the factors that can affect the production process is the work system. Poor work system results in production delays (Iridiastadi and Yassierli, 2014). The delay can be caused by high workload on the operator (Maretno and Haryono, 2015). Home Industry Erlangga Steel is a company that produces textile spare parts, casting products, and various motorcycle and train parts. The company is located in Jalan Holis Bandung City. The company implements a make to stock and make to order production system. The problems that occur in the Home Industry Erlangga Steel that is often of production delay caused high workload on the finishing worksation. There is activity inspection, assembly, and packing by one operator in finishing work station. The number of these activities cause the operator often experience fatigue resulting in production delays. Identification of workload problems in the finishing work station is using Modified Cooper Harper (MCH) method, percentage operator workload is 148%. This shows the workload is classified as very heavy, because workload percentage exceed 100%. The benefit of this research is to find out workloead received by the operator.Keywords: Modified Cooper Harper, Mentally Workload. Abstrak. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi proses produksi yaitu sistem kerja. Sistem kerja yang tidak baik berakibat pada keterlambatan produksi (Iridiastadi dan Yassierli, 2014). Keterlambatan dapat disebabkan oleh beban kerja yang tinggi pada operator (Maretno dan Haryono, 2015). Home Industry Erlangga Steel adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi sparepart textile, produk pengecoran,  dan berbagai macam part motor dan kereta api. Perusahaan ini bertempat di Jalan Holis kota Bandung. Perusahaan ini menerapkan sistem produksi  make to stock dan make to order. Permasalahan yang terjadi di Home Industry Erlangga Steel yaitu sering terjadinya keterlambatan produksi yang disebabkan oleh beban kerja yang tinggi pada bagian finishing. Stasiun kerja finishing terdapat aktivitas pemeriksaan, perakitan, dan packing yang dilakukan satu orang operator. Banyaknya aktivitas tersebut menyebabkan operator sering mengalami kelelahan sehingga terjadi keterlambatan produksi. Identifikasi permasalahan beban kerja pada stasiun kerja finishing yaitu menggunakan metode Modified Cooper Harper (MCH). Hasil dari kuesioner Modified Cooper Harper, persentase beban kerja operator  148%. Hal ini menunjukkan beban kerja tersebut termasuk kategori sangat berat, karena persentase beban kerja melebihi 100 %. Manfaat dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui beban kerja yang diterima oleh operator.Kata Kunci: Modified Cooper Harper, Beban Kerja Mental.
