Penentuan Jumlah Operator Optimal Pada Bagian Finishing Berdasarkan Pengukuran Beban Kerja (Studi Kasus: Konveksi RAFFA BAG)

dc.description Abstract. The problem that arises is the return of products from the consumer because the product quality is not good or can be categorized as defective products. The escape of the defective product is caused by an operator error in the finishing section caused by excessive workloads. Based on these conditions, it is necessary to do research an workload operators. The method used in this study is measuring mental workload using NASA-TLX (Task Load Index) and measuring productive time using work sampling methods. The results of this study are: The mental workload received finishing section operators is 82%, including the very high category. This shows that the mental workload received is not balanced with the ability of the operator. The average percentage of productive time for finishing section operators is 92%. The value of physical workload received by finishing section operators is 143%. So that additional operators are needed as many 1 person. With the addition of operators in the finishing section, it is estimated that the average physical workload received by operators is 71.5%. While the division of work tasks for each operator, namely, operator 1 is responsible for the finishing process working group while operator 2 is responsible for the work group for product inspection and packing processes.Keywords: NASA-TLX, Work sampling, Determination of optimal operator amount.Abstrak. Permasalahan yang muncul yaitu adanya pengembalian produk dari pihak konsumen karena kualitas produk kurang baik atau dapat dikategorikan produk cacat. Lolosnya produk cacat tersebut disebabkan oleh kesalahan operator di bagian finishing yang disebabkan oleh beban kerja yang berlebih.  Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai beban kerja operator. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengukuran beban kerja mental menggunakan NASA-TLX (Task Load Index) dan pengukuran waktu produktif menggunakan metode work sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: Beban kerja mental yang diterima operator bagian finishing yaitu sebesar 82% termasuk kategori sangat tinggi. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa beban mental yang diterima tidak seimbang dengan kemampuan operator. Rata-rata persentase waktu produktif operator bagian finishing yaitu 92%. Nilai beban kerja fisik yang diterima operator bagian finishing yaitu sebesar 143%. Sehingga dibutuhkan operator tambahan sebanyak 1 orang. Dengan adanya penambahan operator di bagian finishing, diperkirakan rata-rata beban kerja fisik yang diterima oleh operator yaitu 71,5%. Sedangkan pembagian tugas kerja untuk masing-masing operator yaitu, operator 1 bertanggung jawab atas kelompok kerja proses finishing sedangkan operator 2 bertanggung jawab atas kelompok kerja proses pemeriksaan produk dan packing.Kata Kunci: NASA-TLX, Sampling pekerjaan, penentuan jumlah operator optimal.
