Abstract. In the perspective of prophetic communication, the communicator should have moral responsibility and social responsibility towards their communicant. The message of prophetic communication has substance humanization, liberation, and transcendence. By using critical discourse analysis models of Teun A. Van Dijk which includes dimensional analysis of the text, social cognition, and social context, this study aims to determine how the novel entitled "Semesta Sebelum Dunia" contained the representations of prophetic communication. For deepening the analysis, researcher conducted interviews with Djibran Fahd as the author of the novel and interviews with some observers prophetic communication. The results of the study showed that in the novel titled "Semesta Sebelum Dunia" by Fahd Djibran has contained representation prophetic communication, because the novel presented a discourse about of pro-life who have substance of humanization to appreciate ourself as a human life, then substance of liberation to appreciate the life of humanity, and have substance of transcendence to appreciate God as the creator of life. Dalam perspektif komunikasi profetik, komunikator dipandang sebagai penyampai pesan yang harus memiliki tanggung jawab moral serta tanggung sosial terhadap komunikannya. Komunikasi profetik terbangun dari dihadirkannya pesan yang yang memiliki substansi humanisasi, liberasi, dan transendensi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis model Teun A. Van Dijk yang meliputi analisis pada dimensi teks, kognisi sosial, dan konteks sosial, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi komunikasi profetik yang terdapat dalam novel “Semesta Sebelum Dunia”. Untuk pendalaman analisis, dilakukan wawancara pada Fahd Djibran selaku pengarang novel dan wawancara pada beberapa pemerhati komunikasi profetik. Hasil dari penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa dalam novel “Semesta Sebelum Dunia” terdapat representasi komunikasi profetik, karena novel tersebut menghadirkan wacara pro-life yang mengajak pembacanya pada upaya humanisasi berupa menghargai kehidupan diri sendiri sebagai manusia, kemudian mengajak pada upaya liberasi berupa menghargai kehidupan kemanusiaan, dan mengajak pada upaya transendensi berupa menghargai Tuhan sebagai pencipta kehidupan.
