Absctract. This study focuses on whether there is an influence between the quality of human resources on the performance of government agencies. The purpose of this study was to find out how the quality of human resources and the performance of government agencies in the Pekanbaru DPRD Secretariat. In this study using a verification method with a quantitative approach. The data sources in this study are primary data obtained from the results of respondents' answers through a questionnaire with the aim of gathering information from staff working in the Pekanbaru City DPRD Secretariat. The sample selection technique is nonprobability sampling by convenience sampling technique, which was carried out by distributing 67 copies of the questionnaire to 67 respondents from the entire population in Pekanbaru City DPRD Secretariat, out of 67 questionnaires distributed as many as 40 copies that returned and became samples for research. Hypothesis testing uses simple regression analysis. Based on the results of the hypothesis test processing, the quality of human resources has a positive and significant effect on the performance of government agencies in the Pekanbaru DPRD Secretariat.Keywords: Quality of Human Resources, Performance of Government AgenciesAbstrak. Penelitian ini memfokuskan apakah terdapat pengaruh antara kualitas sumber daya manusia terhadap kinerja instansi pemerintah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kualitas sumber daya manusia dan kinerja instansi pemerintah pada Sekretariat DPRD kota Pekanbaru. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini yaitu data primer didapat dari hasil jawaban responden melalui kuesioner dengan tujuan untuk mengumpulkan informasi dari staf yang bekerja di Sekretariat DPRD kota Pekanbaru. Teknik pemilihan sampel adalah nonprobability sampling dengan teknik convenience sampling, dimana dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner sebanyak 67 eksemplar kepada 67 responden dari jumlah seluruh populasi di Sekretariat DPRD kota Pekanbaru, dari 67 kuesioner yang disebarkan sebanyak 40 eksemplar yang kembali dan menjadi sampel untuk penelitian. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa kualitas sumber daya manusia berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja instansi pemerintah pada Sekretariat DPRD kota Pekanbaru.Kata kunci : Kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia, Kinerja Instansi Pemerintah |
