Abstract. This study aims to examine the comparison of the financial performance of conventional independent banks and Islamic independent banks using the CAMEL method, in the quarterly period 2010-2017. The method used in this study is a descriptive research method, with a quantitative approach. The type of data used is secondary data, in the form of company financial statements. The test was carried out using the Independent Sample T-Test test method using the SPSS 22 program. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences between conventional independent banks and independent Islamic banks. Keywords: Bank Mandiri syariah, Conventional Mandiri Bank, CAMEL Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji perbandingan kinerja keuangan bank mandiri konvensional dan bank mandiri syariah dengan menggunakan metode CAMEL, pada periode triwulan 2010-2017. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, yang berupa laporan keuangan perusahaan. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode uji Independent Sample T-Test menggunakan program SPSS 22. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara bank mandiri konvensional dan bank mandiri syariah.
