Abstract.This study aims to determine the magnitude of the effect of liquidity and solvency on profitability. Several prior studies have showing various results. To obtain valid results, then performed test on each variables based on the hypothesis constructed. This study population was 22 mining companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2011-2015. The sample used were selected by purposive sampling method. After eliminating data with several criteria, 14 companies are identified as samples during observation period 2011-2015. Hypothesis testing is performed by using the Regression Analysis. This study showed that liquidty and solvency is consistent with hypothesis which has significant effect on profitability. Suggestions for further researchers to use different companies such as food and beverage companies, etc. so that the results obtained will vary, and not fixated on the two variables that exist in this study but can add other factors that might affect the good profitability.Keywords : Liquidity, Solvency, Profitability.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh likuiditas dan solvabilitas terhadap profitabilitas. Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya telah menunjukkan berbagai hasil. Untuk memperoleh hasil yang valid, maka dilakukan tes pada setiap variable berdasarkan hipotesis yang dibangun. Populasi penelitian adalah 22 perusahaan manufaktur sector pertambangan batubara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama 2011-2015. Sampel yang digunakan dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Setelah menghilangkan data dengan beberapa kriteria, 14 perusahaan diidentifikasi sebagai sampel selama periode 2011-2015. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Analisis Regresi Berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa likuiditas dan solvabilitas memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya menggunakan perusahaan yang berbeda seperti perusahaan makanan dan minuman, dll sehingga hasil yang di dapatkan akan bervariasi dan tidak terpaku pada dua variabel yang ada dalam penelitian ini namun dapat menambahkan fakto-faktor lain yang mungkin dapat mempengaruhi baik profitabilitas.Kata kunci : Likuiditas, Solvabilitas, Profitabilitas. |
