Abstract. The purpose in the study determine the effect of political connection, board diversity, and corporate governance perception index on company performance in Indonesia that participate in the Corporate Governance Perception Index program in 2015-2017. The type of data used in secondary data, in the form of company financial reports, annual reports, and data on the corporate governance perception index. The method of selecting samples in his study used purposive and verification research with a quantitative approach. The number of sample studied were 25 companies participating in the Corporate Governance Perception Index in 2015-2017, so that 75 observations were obtained by using documentation techniques. The techniques used in hypothesis testing is multiple regression and data processed using SPSS 20 The result of this study indicate that political connection doesn’t affect company performance as measured by ROE, while board diversity and corporate governance perception index affect the company’s performance as measured by ROE. This study has limitations, namely limittations in the study sample so that for further research it is recommended to add a company or period of research in order to expand the research sample so that the results obtained may affect company performance, and it it recommended to replace other independent variables such as capital structure, company size, etc, that might affect company performance.Keywords: board diveristy, company performance, corporate governance perception index, political connection.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh political connection, board diversity, dan corporate governance perception index terhadap kinerja perusahaan di Indonesia yang mengikuti program Corporate Governance Perception Index tahun 2015-2017. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, yang berupa laporan keuangan perusahaan dan data mengenai Corporate Governance Perception Index. Metode pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive dan penelitian verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel yang diteliti yaitu sebanyak 25 perusahaan yang mengikuti program Corporate Governance Perception Index tahun 2015-2017, maka diperoleh 75 pengamatan (firm years) yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengujian hipotesis adalah analisis regresi berganda dan data diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 20. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa political connection tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan yang diukur dengan ROE, sedangkan board diversity dan corporate governance perception index berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan yang diukur dengan ROE. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan yaitu keterbatasan dalam sampel penelitian sehingga untuk penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk menambah perusahaan atau periode penelitian agar memperluas sampel penelitian sehingga hasil yang didapatkan mungkin akan mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan, serta disarankan untuk mengganti variabel bebas lainnya seperti struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan, dan lain-lain yang mungkin akan mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan.Kata Kunci : Board Diversity, CorporatenGovernance Perception Index, KinerjanPerusahaan, Political Connection.
