Abstract.This study aims to determine the effect and influence of the rate of economic growth on the inequality of income distribution in the short and long term. The type of data used in this study is secondary data and time series in the form of annual data from 2000-2018. The analytical model used is Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) with and tested classic assumptions which include autocorrelation and heteroscedastic tests.The estimation results show the influence of the economic growth rate on the gini ratio in the long and short term, by looking at the lag variable of 0.801149 with the t-hit value = 5.82 or the probability value of 0.0000. This means that the requirements of the PAM model are met 0 <β2 <1 positive, so it can be concluded that the effect of the rate of economic growth on the gini ratio is different from the long and short term. From the results of the PAM R2 values found from the estimation results above which are 0.729290, this means that 72.92% of the variebel variations in economic growth can be explained by variations in income distribution inequality measured by the Gini index.Keywords: Economic Growth, Gini Ratio, Partial Adjustmen Model (PAM) Abstrak.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan besar pengaruh laju pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan dalam jangka pendek dan jangka panjang. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dan time series dalam bentuk data tahunan dari tahun 2000-2018. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) dengan dan diuji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji autokorelasi dan uji heteroskedastis.Hasil estimasi menunjukan adanya pengaruh laju pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap gini rasio dalam jangka panjang dan jangka pendek, dengan melihat variabel kelambanan sebesar 0.801149 dengan nilai atau nilai probabilitas 0.0000. Artinya bahwa syarat model PAM terpenuhi 0< β2<1 bertanda positif, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh laju pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap gini rasio berbeda dengan jangka panjang dan jangka pendek.Dari hasil PAM nilai R2 yang ditemukan dari hasil estimasi di atas yang besarnya 0.729290, ini berarti bahwa 72,92% dari variasi variebel pertumbuhan ekonomi mampu dijelaskan oleh variasi ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan yang di ukur dengan indeks gini.Kata Kunci: Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Gini Rasio, Partial Adjustmen Model (PAM) |
