dc.description Abstract. The purpose of this study is to find out weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and threats; and got an overview of the potential development strategies of Jelekong Village in developing creative industries in the field of painting. The study was conducted using descriptive research methods through SWOT analysis.Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that, Strength: the marketing of paintings is online; painting skills are ingrained so that paintings are distinctive and difficult to imitate; the distance to the city center / market is not too far away; is a central area of similar activities with the existence of several art professions; availability of skilled laborers regardless of education level; good community mentality; and production can increase market share. Weaknesses: still traditional painting materials and equipment; not all workers have received painting training; and not fully supported by facilities as tourist attractions. Opportunity: an area with cool weather with beautiful scenery; material and equipment easily available. Threat: government policies have not helped much; demand conditions decline; and there are other producing areas. Development strategy: Painting certified and / or patented; Participate in art exhibitions; build a mini 3D painting gallery; continuous counseling from Kompepar; use of e-commerce in purchasing raw materials collectively; maintaining profound painting skills and distinctive paintings that are difficult to imitate; founded the Cooperative of painters; establish cooperation with other organizations; include painting galleries in training; and actively submit requests for improvement / improvement in accessibility to the local government.Keywords: Development Strategy, Creative Industry, Village Potential, Painting, SWOT Analysis, Jelekong Village.Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelemahan, kekuatan, peluang, dan ancaman; serta mendapat gambaran strategi pengembangan potensi Desa Jelekong dalam mengembangkan industri kreatif di bidang seni lukis. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif melalui analisis SWOT.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa, Kekuatan: pemasaran lukisan sudah secara online; keterampilan melukis mendarah daging sehingga lukisan berciri khas dan sulit ditiru; jarak ke pusat kota/pasar tidak terlalu jauh; merupakan daerah sentra dari kegiatan sejenis dengan adanya beberapa profesi seni; ketersediaan buruh berketerampilan baik tanpa melihat tingkat pendidikan; baiknya mentalitas masyarakat; dan secara produksi mampu meningkatkan pangsa pasar. Kelemahan: material dan peralatan melukis masih tradisional; belum semua tenaga kerja mendapatkan pelatihan seni lukis; dan belum sepenuhnya ditunjang fasilitas selayaknya tempat wisata. Peluang: merupakan kawasan bercuaca sejuk dengan pemandangan indah; material dan peralatan mudah didapat. Ancaman: kebijakan pemerintah belum banyak membantu; kondisi permintaan menurun; dan terdapat daerah penghasil lukisan lain. Strategi pengembangan: Lukisan disertifikasi dan/atau dipatenkan; Ikut serta dalam pameran karya seni; membangun galeri lukisan 3D mini; penyuluhan berkelanjutan dari Kompepar; penggunaan e-commerce dalam pembelian bahan baku secara kolektif; mempertahankan keterampilan melukis yang mendarah daging serta lukisan berciri khas yang sulit ditiru; mendirikan Koperasi para pelukis; menjalin kerja sama dengan organisasi lain; menyertakan galeri-galeri lukis dalam pelatihan; dan secara aktif mengajukan permohonan perbaikan/peningkatan aksesibilitas kepada pemerintah setempat.Kata Kunci: Strategi Pengembangan, Industri Kreatif, Potensi Desa, Seni Lukis, Analisis SWOT, Desa Jelekong.
