Abstract. Abstract. The development of various types of food products in Sumedang Regency, the food industry that is most developed is the tofu industry. North Sumedang Subdistrict is one of the most producing sub-districts of tofu industry, the largest distribution of industrial centers in Kebonjati Village. The existence of a tofu industry can have economic, social and environmental impacts. This study aims to determine the impact of the existence of the tofu industry on social, economic and environmental communities in North Sumedang (case study: Desa Kebonjati). The analytical method used is quantitative descriptive with the survey method. Data collection techniques are primary data with a number of respondents totaling 100.The results of this study are proven by the percentage achievement of the tofu-to-social industry activities for tofu entrepreneurs obtained value of 91% (very high), for workers obtained at 82% (very high), achievement percentage of the tofu industry's economic activities for tofu entrepreneurs obtained value of 89.5% (very high), labor obtained a value of 84% (very high) retail traders obtained a value of 85% (very high), soybean stores obtained a value of 87% while for cattle breeders obtained a value of 31 % (low), the percentage of the impact of the activities of the tofu industry on the environment for households obtained a value of 84% (very high).Keywoard : Small Industry, Tofu, Social Impact, Economic, EnvironmentAbstrak. Berkembangnya berbagai jenis produk makanan di Kabupaten Sumedang industri makanan yang paling banyak dikembangkan adalah industri tahu. Kecamatan Sumedang Utara adalah salah satu kecamatan paling banyak memproduksi industri tahu, sebaran sentra industri terbanyak di Desa Kebonjati. Keberadaan industri tahu dapat memberikan dampak ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya dampak keberadaan industri tahu terhadap sosial, ekonomi dan lingkungan masyarakat di Sumedang Utara (studi kasus : Desa Kebonjati). Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah data primer dengan jumlah responden berjumlah 100.Hasil Penelitian ini dibuktikan dengan capaian persentase dampak kegiatan industri tahu terhadap sosial bagi pengusaha tahu diperoleh nilai sebesar 91% (sangat tinggi), bagi tenaga kerja diperoleh sebesar 82% (sangat tinggi), capaian persentase dampak kegiatan industri tahu terhadap ekonomi bagi pengusaha tahu diperoleh nilai sebesar 89,5% (sangat tinggi), tenaga kerja diperoleh nilai sebesar 84% (sangat tinggi) pedagang eceran diperoleh nilai sebesar 85% (sangat tinggi),toko kacang kedelai diperoleh nilai sebesar 87% sedangkan bagi peternak sapi diperoleh nilai sebesar 31% (rendah), capaian persentase dampak kegiatan industri tahu terhadap lingkungan bagi rumah tangga diperoleh nilai sebesar 84% (sangat tinggi).Kata Kunci : Industri Kecil, Tahu, Dampak sosial, ekonomi dan lingkungan |
