Abstract. The research in this tesis is motivated by the assumption that the occurrence of risk in the profit achievement is associated with the occurrence of dynamic changes in profit sharing. Profit will be obtained when the bank is capable to achieve a good financial performance and conditions, so that will resulting the high profitability. Where as the risks will come if the bank have a less care, bank will go through the bad conditions then they come at the possibility of  insolvency. The measurement, large or small gap will determine the amount of potential profits or losses due to changes in the level of profit sharing. This study aims to under way to find out whether there is the influence of the management of gap noted against net profit margin .Was used in the study a method of descriptive of various surveys show signs of by applying a technique in a report out finance of publicly listed pt bank syariah mandiri a period of 2015-2017 from the analysis secondary use the quantitative methods .An instrument of analysis that was used are analyzed to linear regression simple with program assistance spss 16.0. Keywords: management of gap, net profit margin, profitabiltyAbstrak. Penelitian dalam skripsi ini di latar belakang oleh adanya asumsi bahwa terjadinya risiko diraihnya keuntungan dikaitkan dengan terjadinya perubahan-perubahan dinamis tingkat bagi hasil. Keuntungan diperoleh jika bank berhasil meraih kinerja dan kondisi keuangan yang bagus, sehingga menghasilkan tingkat profitabilitas yang tinggi. Sedangkan risiko yang dihadapi bank terjadi bila kurang berhati-hati, bank mengalami kondisi yang buruk sehingga menghadapi kemungkinan insolvensi. Besar kecilnya gap akan menentukan besarnya potensi keuntungan atau kerugian karena perubahan tingkat bagi hasil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh manajemen gap terhadap net profit margin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik survey pada laporan keunagan PT Bank Syariah Mandiri periode 2015-2017 dengan analisis sekunder menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0. Kata kunci: Manajemen Gap, Net Profit Margin, Profitabilitas
