Abstract. The rapidly era development the bigger also competition faced by a company , the technology development make a force for the company instead technology can even make a real threat for the company if company management not capable of berdaptasi with technology development that is .One of them is company during manufacturing industry cigarette .Manufacturing industry cigarette is one of from an industry that gives you a lot of income state finances .Therefore it is very influential on the economy in indonesia .With its coming pesain new of electric cigarette , this study attempts to know whether there is a difference profitability manufacturing industry company cigarette before and after the introduction electric cigarette. Research methods that were used of these tests are qualitative research was conducted .Been disclosed in the research the recent times there were two variables free pt pgn promised to supply its modest profitability in prior to the establishment of a cigarette electrical and its modest profitability in after the introduction of a cigarette electrically . Its modest profitability in the is measured using the ratio of the Return On Assets , Return On Equity and Net Profit Margin .The kind of data that used the dead sea is of secondary data obtained from the indonesia stock exchange official website also pay attention to PT Gudang Garam Tbk, PT HM Sampoerna Tbk and PT Bentoel International Investama Tbk. The method of analysis that used was a qualitative methodology with the approach descriptive , by testing is test normality data and the different that is one sample t-test , independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test .Hasill research showed that of the three the ratio tested , two the ratio are showing differences and one ratio does not point the differences in the period before and after the introduction of cigarette electric .Variable that is indicative of differences in namely ROA and ROE.Keywords: Return On Assets , Return On Equity and Net Profit MarginAbstrak. Semakin pesat perkembangan jaman semakin besar pula persaingan yang dihadapi oleh sebuah perusahaan, meningkatknya perkembangan teknologi dapat menjadikan sebuah kekuatan bagi perusahaan namun sebaliknya teknologi bahkan bisa menjadikan sebuah ancaman nyata bagi perusahaan jika manajemen perusahaan tidak mampu berdaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi yang ada. Salah satunya adalah perusahaan pada industri manufaktur rokok. Industri manufaktur rokok adalah salah satu dari industri yang memberikan banyak pendapatan pada keuangan Negara. Maka dari itu hal ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap perekonomian di Indonesia. Dengan datang nya pesain baru berupa rokok elektrik, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan Profitabilitas Perusahaan Industri Manufaktur rokok sebelum dan sesudah adanya rokok elektrik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel bebas yaitu profitabilitas sebelum adanya rokok elektrik dan profitabilitas sesudah adanya rokok elektrik. profitabilitas yang diukur dengan menggunakan rasio Return On Asset, Return On Equity dan Net Profit Margin. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia website resmi PT Gudang Garam Tbk, PT HM Sampoerna Tbk dan PT Bentoel International Investama Tbk. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan pengujian yang dilakukan yaitu uji normalitas data dan uji beda yaitu one sample t-test, independent sample t-test dan paired sample t-test. Hasill penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari ketiga rasio yang diujikan, dua rasio menujukan perbedaan dan satu rasio tidak menujukan perbedaan pada periode sebelum dan sesudah adanya rokok elektrik. Variabel yang menunjukan adanya perbedaan yaitu ROA dan ROE.Kata Kunci: Return On Asset, Return On Equity dan Net Profit Margin |
