Abstract. National Health Insurance is a government program organized by BPJS Kesehatan. The informal sector is the largest group in Indonesia, but BPJS Kesehatan participation achievement in this group is not optimal. BPJS Kesehatan participation data on December 31st 2017 showed that of 187.982.949 participants, there were only 25.397.828 informal sectors who participated on National Health Insurance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of income and BPJS Mandiri membership at Street Vendors on Jalan Tamansari. The used method was cross-sectional method through questionnaires using consecutive sampling technique. The results showed that of 40 respondents there were 23 (57.5%) respondents were not BPJS Mandiri participants and 17 (42.5%) of them were participants. There were 22 (55%) respondents had income above minimum regional wage and 18 (45%) respondents had income below it. The P value of the chi square test = 0.38 is greater than alpha = 0.05, there is no significant relationship between income and membership of BPJS.Keywords: BPJS Kesehatan, Income, Informal Sector.Abstrak. Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional merupakan program Pemerintah yang diselenggarakan oleh BPJS Kesehatan. Sektor informal merupakan kelompok terbesar di Indonesia, namun capaian kepesertaan BPJS Kesehatan pada kelompok ini belum optimal. Berdasarkan data kepesertaan BPJS Kesehatan per 31 Desember 2017, hanya terdapat 25.397.828 pekerja bukan penerima upah yang menjadi peserta dari total seluruh peserta yaitu 187.982.949 jiwa. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui hubungan pendapatan dengan kepesertaan BPJS Kesehatan Mandiri pada Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL) di Jalan Tamansari. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode cross-sectional melalui form-kuesioner dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 40 responden terdapat 23 (57.5%) bukan peserta BPJS Kesehatan dan 17 (42.5%) peserta BPJS Kesehatan. Sebesar 22 (55%) responden memiliki pendapatan di atas Upah Minimum Regional (UMR) Kota Bandung dan 18 (45%) responden berpendapatan di bawah UMR Kota Bandung. Nilai P uji chi square = 0,38 lebih besar dari alpha= 0.05 sehingga tidak terdapat hubungan antara pendapatan dan kepesertaan BPJS Kesehatan Mandiri.Kata Kunci: BPJS Kesehatan, Pendapatan, Sektor Informal. |
