Abstract. Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is still one of the public health problems in the world even though control efforts with the Directly Observed Treatment Short-course (DOTS) strategy have been applied in many countries since 1995. Based on the DOTS strategy, one important strategy for TB management is treatment standards with supervision and support for patients. The implementation of this strategy is one of them by the promotion of the Drug Swallow Supervisor.The success of PMO in increasing the level of compliance of pulmonary TB patients is influenced by one of the factors, namely the level of knowledge and education.  The purpose of this study was to look at the relationship between education level and knowledge of Drug Swallow Supervisor with the recovery of adult pulmonary TB patients in 2018. This study used observational analytic methods. The level of education and knowledge was assessed using a questionnaire and analyzed by using SPSS v.21. The results showed that of the 50 patients who were declared cured were under the supervision of the Drug Swallow Supervisor who had a high school education of 12 people (75.0%), but still found more than 50% of respondents were at the level of education below high school. And most of the patients who were declared cured, had a drug swallow supervisor that were quite good knowledge of 11 people (44.0%), but the incidence of patients not recovering decreased along with the increasing knowledge of the drug swallow supervisor.Keywords: Education, Knowledge, Recovery, Swallowing drugs supervisior Abstrak. Tuberkulosis (TB) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberkulosis sampai saat ini masih merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan masyarakat di dunia walaupun upaya pengendalian dengan strategi Directly Observed Treatment Short-course (DOTS) telah diterapkan di banyak negara sejak tahun 1995. Berdasarkan strategi DOTS, salah satu strategi yang penting bagi penanganan TB adalah pengobatan standar dengan supervisi dan dukungan bagi pasien. Penerapan strategi ini salah satunya adalah dengan digalakannya Pengawas Menelan Obat (PMO).1 Keberhasilan PMO dalam meningkatkan tingkat kepatuhan pasien TB paru dipengaruhi diantaranya oleh salah satu faktor yaitu tingkat pengetahuan dan pendidikan.1,2 Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan PMO dengan kesembuhan pasien TB paru dewasa tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional. Tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan dinilai dengan menggunakan kuesioner dandianalisa dengan menggunkan SPSS v.21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 50 pasien yang dinyatakan sembuh berada dibawah pengawasan Pengawas Menelan Obat yang berpendidikan SMA yaitu 12 orang (75,0%), namun masih ditemukan lebih dari 50% responden berada pada tingkat pendidikan dibawah SMA. Dan sebagian besar pasien yang dinyatakan sembuh, memiliki pengawas menelan obat yang berpengetahuan cukup baik yaitu sebesar 11 orang (44,0%), namun kejadian pasien tidak sembuh berkurang seiring dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan pengawas menelan obat.Kata kunci: Pengetahuan, Pendidikan, Pengawas Menelan Obat, Sembuh
