Abstract. Stroke is the second leading cause of death in the world after ischemic heart disease with increasing prevalence. Ischemic stroke is a functional disorders of the focal and global brain that is sudden, acute, and lasting more than 24 hours due to blockage of blood flow to the brain. Dyslipidemia and hypertension are important risk factors in ischemic stroke. This study aims to determine the relationship of blood lipid profile with hypertension in ischemic stroke patients. The study method was analytic observational with the cross-sectional approach and was taken by consecutive sampling technique. The study data was obtained from the medical records of ischemic stroke patients who were admitted in Al-Ihsan Hospital West Java Province in 2016—2018. As many as 122 samples used in this study. The results of this study showed that many ischemic strokes patients who experience hypertension stage 2 with blood pressure generally are 178/100 mmHg and more common in males and in age group 55-64 years with mean age of 59.9 years. In general, the value of lipid profiles are total cholesterol 206,4, triglycerides 129, HDL 45, and LDL 130.2 in units of mg/dL. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship total cholesterol and LDL with hypertension in ischemic stroke patients and both had the same level of influence on hypertension, but no significant relationship triglycerides and HDL with hypertension in ischemic strokes patients.Keywords : Hypertension, Lipid profile, Ischemic stroke, Blood pressure. Stroke iskemik adalah gangguan fungsional otak fokal maupun global secara mendadak, akut, dan berlangsung >24 jam akibat terhambatnya aliran darah ke otak. Dislipidemia dan hipertensi merupakan faktor risiko penting pada stroke iskemik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan profil lipid darah dengan hipertensi pada pasien stroke iskemik. Metode penelitian bersifat analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dan diambil dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dari rekam medis pasien stroke iskemik yang dirawat inap di RSUD Al-Ihsan Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2016—2018. Sebanyak 122 sampel digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pasien stroke iskemik banyak yang mengalami hipertensi tingkat 2 dengan tekanan darah secara umum sebesar 178/100 mmHg serta lebih banyak pada laki-laki dan kelompok usia 55-64 tahun dengan rerata 59,9 tahun. Nilai profil lipid secara umum yaitu kolesterol total 206,4, trigliserida 129, HDL 45, dan LDL 130,2 dalam satuan mg/dL. Kesimpulan: Didapatkan hubungan yang signifikan kolesterol total dan LDL dengan hipertensi pada pasien stroke iskemik serta keduanya memiliki tingkatan pengaruh yang sama terhadap hipertensi, namun tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan trigliserida dan HDL dengan hipertensi pada pasien stroke iskemik. Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, Profil lipid, Stroke iskemik, Tekanan darah.
