Abstract. Aedes aegypti mosquitoes lived and breed in water reservoirs and were not directly related to land such as bathtubs, buckets, vases, and others. The presence of Aedes aegypti larvae is an indicator of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes in the environment. Density of Aedes aegypti larvae become one of the indicators of the high incidence of DHF. This study aimed to determine the difference of mosquito larvae density at controllable water reservoir site and disposable site in UNISBA environment. The research was conducted in March 2018 at campus UNISBA Taman Sari No.1 using analytic observational research, quantitative approach with cross sectional design. The water reservoirs examined amounted to 52 TPAs with 26 controllable sites and 26 disposable sites. Based on the results of the study, analitic showed no difference between controllable water reservoir site and disposable site with p value more than 0.05. The absence of such differences was due to the level of exposure to sunlight, water quality, and water reservoirs used all the same both controllable site and disposable site.Keywords: Controllable Site, Dissposable Site, Larva Desnsity, The Presence Aedes aegypti Larvae.Abstrak. Nyamuk Aedes aegypti hidup dan berkembang biak di tempat penampungan air bersih dan tidak langsung berhubungan dengan tanah seperti bak mandi, ember, vas bunga, dan lain-lain. Terdapatnya jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti merupakan indikator adanya nyamuk Aedes aegypti di lingkungan tersebut. Kepadatan jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti menjadi salah satu penyebab tingginya kejadian DBD tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kepadatan jentik nyamuk di tempat penampungan air controllable site dan disposable site di lingkungan UNISBA. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret 2018 di lingkungan kampus UNISBA Taman Sari No.1 dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian observational analitik, pendekatan kuantitatif dengan design cross sectional. Tempat penampungan air yang diperiksa berjumlah 52 TPA dengan 26 controllable site dan 26 disposable site. Berdasar atas hasil dari penelitian, secara analitik menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan antara tempat penampungan air yang controllable site dan disposable site dengan nilai p lebih dari 0.05. Tidak adanya perbedaan tersebut dikarenakan tingkat paparan cahaya matahari, kualitas air, dan bahan penampungan air yang dipakai semua sama baik controllable site maupun disposable site.Kata Kunci: Controllable Site, Disposable Site, Keberadaan Jentik Nyamuk, Kepadatan Jentik |
