Abstract. Neonatal sepsis is usually interpreted as a systemic symptom of infection. Neonatal sepsis is an infection that occurs vertically from an infection suffered by the mother during labor or birth. Infection at the beginning of the first week of life is associated with microorganisms that are transmitted from the mother to the fetus. This study aims to determine the incidence of neonatal sepsis and a description of the characteristics of infants and mothers in Al-Ihsan General Hospital Bandung. This study used an observational descriptive method with secondary data obtained from Medical Records. Data was taken by total sampling and carried out processing on data that had met the inclusion criteria as many as 160 cases. The results of the research at Al-Ihsan General Hospital show that the incidence of neonatal sepsis in 2017 is 160 cases. The highest maternal age group is not at the age of 20─35 years with 118 people (73.8%), the most types of labor through SC as many as 115 people (71.9%), 75% of cases of neonatal neonatal infants and not LBW (52.5%). In conclusion, the incidence of neonatal sepsis in 2017 is occurring in mothers with a history of types of SC labor in the age group not at risk (20─35) and in term infants, not LBW.Keywords: Characteristics, Prevalance, Sepsis Neonatorum Abstrak. Sepsis neonatorum biasa diartikan sebagai gejala sistemik infeksi. Sepsis neonatorum merupakan infeksi yang terjadi secara vertikal dari infeksi yang diderita ibu selama persalinan atau kelahiran. Infeksi pada awal minggu pertama kehidupan berhubungan dengan mikroorganisme yang ditularkan dari ibu kepada janin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui angka kejadian sepsis neonatus dan gambaran karakteristik bayi serta ibu di RSUD Al-Ihsan Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif observasional dengan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Rekam Medis. Data diambil secara total sampling dan dilakukan pengolahan pada data yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi sebanyak 160 kasus. Hasil penelitian di RSUD Al-Ihsan menunjukan bahwa angka kejadian sepsis neonatorum pada tahun 2017 terdapat 160 kasus. Kelompok usia ibu terbanyak yaitu pada usia tidak berisiko yaitu usia 20─35 tahun sebanyak 118 orang (73,8%), jenis persalinan terbanyak melalui SC sebanyak 115 orang (71,9%), 75% kasus neonatorum bayi cukup bulan dan tidak BBLR (52,5%). Kesimpulannya angka kejadian sepsis neonatorum tahun 2017 adalah terjadi pada ibu dengan riwayat jenis persalinan SC pada kelompok usia tidak berisiko (20─35) dan pada bayi cukup bulan, tidak BBLR.Kata kunci : Angka Kejadian, Karakteristik, Sepsis Neonatorum |
