Abstract. There so many large manufacturing companies in Indonesia but the level of environmental performance has not been good and the economic performance is very fluctuating every year. The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of organizational size on the economic performance and the effect of environmental performance on the economic performance. This research uses a verification method with an approach to quantitative. The population in this study is manufacturing sector companies in the consumer goods industry on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) which has gone public on in 2016-2018. The sample selection in this study uses the method of purposive sampling. The type of data used in this study is data secondary by using documentation techniques. The data analysis method in testing the used hypothesis in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that organizational size influences economic performance. This means that the greater the size of a company, the more profit is obtained so that it can improve the economic performance of the company. Environmental performance affects economic performance. This means that the better the environmental performance, the better the economic performance of the company.Keyword: Organizational Size, Environmental Performance, Economic Performance, ROA, PROPERAbstrak. Banyak perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia yang berukuran besar namun memiliki tingkatan kinerja lingkungan yang belum baik dan kinerja ekonomi yang sangat berfluktuasi setiap tahunnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pengaruh organizational size terhadap economic performance dan pengaruh environmental performance terhadap economic performance. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang konsumsi di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) yang telah go public pada tahun 2016-2018. Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Metode analisis data dalam pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa organizational size berpengaruh terhadap economic performance. Artinya semakin besar ukuran sebuah perusahaan maka semakin bertambah laba yang diperoleh sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja ekonomi perusahaan. Environmental performance berpengaruh terhadap terhadap economic performance. Artinya semakin baik kinerja lingkungan sebuah perusahaan maka semakin baik pula kinerja ekonomi perusahaan.Kata Kunci: Organizational Size, Environmental Performance, Economic Performance, ROA, PROPER |
