Abstract. This paper presents the results of research on the technical efficiency of farmers' rice production in the city of Bandung. There are two groups of farmers studied, namely those who work on land owned by the Bandung City Government and private land. The aim is to estimate technical efficiency and analyze its relationship with the benefits of the two groups of farmers. This study uses a stochastic frontier estimated with primary data. The first conclusion, farmers on private land are more efficient than farmers who work on land owned by the Bandung City Government. Second, the high level of efficiency can provide the highest benefits in paddy production.Keywords : Stochastic Frontier, Production Efficiency, AgricultureAbstrak. Makalah ini menampilkan hasil penelitian tentang efisiensi teknis produksi padi petani di Kota Bandung. Terdapat dua kelompok petani yang dikaji, yaitu mereka yang bekerja pada lahan milik Pemerintah Kota Bandung dan lahan pribadi. Tujuannya adalah mengestimasi efisiensi teknis, dan menganalisis hubungannya dengan keuntungan pada dua kelompok petani. Penelitian ini menggunakan stochastic frontier yang diestimasi dengan data primer. Kesimpulan pertama, petani pada lahan pribadi lebih efisien dibandingkan petani yang bekerja pada lahan milik Pemerintah Kota Bandung. Kedua, tingkat efisiensi tertinggi dapat memberikan keuntungan tertinggi pada usaha tani padi.Kata Kunci: Stochastic Frontier, Efisiensi Produksi, Pertanian |
