Abstract. The purpose of this study was to find out 1) the level of competence and motivation at The Public Services Agency of Mineral and Coal Technology or known as (Puslitbang TekMIRA). 2) the level of Employee Performance at the tekMIRA Research and Development Center. 3) how competence and motivation affecting the Employee’s Performance at The Public Services Agency of Mineral and Coal Technology. This study is classified as descriptive and verification analysis and it was calculated by using SPSS 20.0 program where the variables of this study were Competence, Motivation and Employee’s Performance. The data collection obtained through observation and questionnaires. The method used in this study was survey research method and used sampling method for the technique sampling. The respondents of this study were 69 employees of Public Services Agency of Mineral and Coal Technology. This study found that: 1) Competence in The Public Services Agency of Mineral and Coal Technology (Puslitbang TekMIRA) was in the good category. 2) Motivation at The Public Services Agency of Mineral and Coal Technology (Puslitbang TekMIRA) was in the good category. 3) The Employees' performance The Public Services Agency of Mineral and Coal Technology (Puslitbang TekMIRA) was in very high category. 4) Competency partially has a positive and significant effect on Employee’s Performance. 5) Motivation partially has a positive and significant effect on employee’s performance. 6) Competence and Motivation has positive and significant effects simultaneously. It can be concluded that there was an influence between Competence and Motivation on Employee’s Performance at Puslitbang TekMIRA.Keywords: Competence, Motivation, Employee’s Performance.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Untuk mengethaui tingkat Kompetensi dan Motivasi di Puslitbang tekMIRA. 2) Untuk Mengetahui tingkat Kinerja Karyawan di Puslitbang tekMIRA. 3) Menganalisis bagaimana Kompetensi dan Motivasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di Puslitbang tekMIRA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan verifikatif dan mengoperasikan perhitungannya menggunakan program SPSS 20.0. Variabel dalam penelitian ini Kompetensi, Motivasi dan Kinerja Karyawan. Pengumpulan data yang diperoleh melalui observasi dan kuesioner. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survey dan teknik penarikan sampel adalah metode sampling. Responden penelitian ini adalah karyawan Puslitbang tekMIRA yang berjumlah 69 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: 1) Kompetensi pada Puslitbang tekMIRA termasuk kategori baik. 2) Motivasi pada Puslitbang tekMIRA termasuk kategori baik. 3) Kinerja Karyawan pada Puslitbang tekMIRA termasuk kategori sangat tinggi. 4) Kompetensi secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. 5) Motivasi secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. 6) Kompetensi dan Motivasi terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara Kompetensi dan Motivasi terhadap Kinerja karyawan pada karyawan Puslitbang tekMIRA.Kata kunci: Kompetensi, Motivasi, Kinerja Karyawan. |
