Pemuda Istiqamah Bandung adalah sebuah komunitas yang dibentuk di Masjid Istiqamah kota Bandung. Tujuan dari komunitas ini adalah untuk memberikan sebuah wadah bagi para pemuda islam untuk melakukan sebuah kegiatan dakwah di kalangan para pemuda. Selain itu, Pemuda Istiqamah juga menjadi wadah pemuda untuk mengembangkan skill dan kreativitas pemuda dalam bentuk kegiatan-kegiatan yang di selenggarakan oleh komunitas tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengenai ketertarikan, membangun kohesivitas kelompok, serta bagaimana pencapaian yang di dapatkan anggota selama bergabung dalam komunitas Pemuda Istiqamah Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah pengurus serta anggota komunitas Pemuda Istiqamah Bandung.Hasil penelitian yang di dapatkan yaitu anggota tertarik kepada Pemuda Istiqamah karena adanya faktor sejarah serta ingin mencari lingkungan yang baik. Dengan berbagai latar belakang yang berbeda, anggota selalu berusaha mengikuti setiap kegiatan yang dilaksanakan Pemuda Istiqamah apalagi jika anggota diberikan mandat atau status yang lebih tinggi untuk mengatur sebuah kegiatan kelompok sehingga tingkat loyalitas terhadap kelompok bertambah.Musyawarah pun menjadi solusi untuk menyelesaikan perbedaan pendapat yang terjadi selama berada di dalam Pemuda Istiqamah. Dengan demikian, kepuasan dapat dicapai oleh anggota baik dari sisi kelompok yakni bertambahnya relasi, maupun ilmu yang bertambah serta pengalaman yang berharga dari sisi individu. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Kelompok, Kohesivitas Kelompok, Pemuda Istiqamah Bandung Bandung Istiqamah Youth is a community established at Bandung Istiqamah Mosque. The goal of this community is to be a place for Muslim youths’ da’wah activities. Besides that, Bandung Istiqamah Youth also serves as the place for the youths to develop skills and creativities through the events held by the community.The aims of this study were to find out the interest, the group cohesiveness, and the agreement reached by the members in Bandung Istiqamah Youth Community. The method employed in this study was qualitative through case studies. The subjects of the study were the boards and the members of Bandung Istiqamah Community. The result of the study showed that the interest of the members in joining the community was due to the historical factors and the desire to find a positive environment. Having different backgrounds, the members always tried to be actively participate in every event held by the community, especially when the members were given an order or a higher position to manage a group event, their sense of belonging would increase. The discussion to reach an agreement became a solution to manage the different voices inside Bandung Istiqamah Youth Community. Therefore, the members were satisfied in joining the community because they could build relationship, get more knowledge, and get valuable experience.Keywords: Group Communication, Group Cohesiveness, Istiqamah Youth in Bandung |
