Abstract. Shift work system is one of the work systems used to increase work productivity or to provide services for 24 hours. Nurses hospital are one of the workers who get shifts. Shift work has several effects that interfere with circadian rhythms. One of them is the cardiovascular system which has an impact on physical fitness. Physical fitness can be assessed from VO2 max and HRR. The purpose of this study was to assess differences in the values of VO2 max and HRR in shift and non-shift work nurses at Muhammadiyah Hospital Bandung. The method used is quantitative observational analytic method with cross sectional research design. The research subjects are 30 respondents who were given the Harvard step test. Data analysis used Mann Whitney and Fischer exact. Results of this study can be concluded that there is no significant difference in the value of distribution and mean of VO2 max or PLJ in shift and non shift work nurses (P>0,05). Conclusion is no effect from shift work system or non shift work system to physical fitness. These results can be caused by many factors like body composition, psychological, genetic and environment.Keywords: Shift Work, Heart Rate Recovery, Nurse, VO2 MaxAbstrak. Sistem kerja gilir merupakan salah satu sistem kerja yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kerja ataupun untuk menyediakan pelayanan 24 jam. Perawat rumah sakit merupakan salah satu pekerja yang mendapatkan jatah kerja gilir. Kerja gilir mempunyai beberapa efek yang mengganggu ritme sirkadian. Salah satunya terhadap sistem kardiovaskular yang berdampak pada kebugaran jasmani. Kebugaran jasmani dapat dinilai dari VO2 maks dan Pemulihan Laju Jantung (PLJ). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai perbedaan nilai VO2 maks dan PLJ pada perawat kerja gilir dan non kerja gilir di Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Bandung. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode analitik observasional kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 responden diberi perlakuan Harvard step test. Analisis statistik menggunakan Mann Whitney dan Fischer exact. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada distribusi dan rerata VO2 maks dan PLJ pada perawat kerja gilir dan non kerja gilir (P>0,05). Simpulannya tidak terdapat pengaruh dari sistem kerja gilir maupun non gilir terhadap kebugaran tubuh. Hasil tersebut bisa diakibatkan karena nilai VO2 maks dan PLJ dapat dipengaruhi beberapa faktor seperti komposisi tubuh, psikologis, genetik, dan lingkungan.Kata Kunci: Kerja Gilir, Pemulihan Laju Jantung, Perawat, VO2 Maks |
