AbstrakDiabetes melitus merupakan suatu keadaan yang ditandai dengan hiperglikemia yang disebabkan gangguan sekresi insulin, kerja insulin atau keduanya. Bentuk paling umum dari diabetes mellitus adalah diabetes mellitus tipe II. Komplikasi tersering yang diderita pasien diabetes mellitus tipe II adalah neuropati diabetik. Cara mencegah komplikasi tersebut kadar glukosa dalam darah harus terkontrol dengan baik salah satunya dengan pemeriksaan HbA1c. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kadar HbA1c dengan neuropati diabetik pada penderita diabetes mellitus tipe II di RSUD Al-Ihsan. Data yang diambil dari rekam medis RSUD Al-Ihsan selama tiga tahun dari tahun 2017−2019. Selama tiga tahun tersebut didapatkan 69 sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif observasi analitik dengan rancangan case control. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan chi square menunjukkan nilai p 0,015. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kadar HbA1c dengan neuropati diabetik (p<0,05).Kata Kunci : Diabetes Mellitus Tipe II, Kadar HbA1c, Neuropati Diabetik. Abstract Diabetes mellitus is a condition characterized by hyperglycemia caused by impaired insulin secretion, insulin action or both. The most common form of diabetes mellitus is Diabetes Mellitus Type II. The most common complication suffered by Type II Diabetes Mellitus patients is Diabetic Neuropathy. To prevent these complications, blood glucose levels must be well controlled, one of them is by examining HbA1c. This study aims to determine the relationship between levels of HbA1c with Diabetic Neuropathy in Type II Diabetes Mellitus Patients in Al-Ihsan District Hospital. Data taken from the medical records of Al-Ihsan District Hospital for three years from 2017−2019. During those three years, 69 samples were obtained that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Sample selection uses total sampling technique. This research is a quantitative analytic observation research with case control design. Based on the results of the chi square calculation shows the value of p 0.015.
