Abstract. Among degenerative diseases, Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a disease that is against human health. In 2012 as many as 1.5 million people died due to DM, and 43% of population deaths worldwide with age below 70 years were acquired by DM. Complications that can occur in DM are nephropathy. Serious complications that occur from diabetic nephrophaty is the destruction of the kidneys, namely kidney failure. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of chronic kedney desease in DM2 patients at Al Ihsan Regional Hospital in 2018, and to look at the characteristics of chronic kedney desease in DM2 patients based on indicators of age, sex, and glomerular filtration rate. This type of research used in this study is a descriptive method with cross sectional considerations using medical record data. The study sample was patients diagnosed with DM2 at Al Ihsan District Hospital in 2018. With the random sampling method, 600 study samples were obtained. The results of this study indicate the prevalence of chronic kedney desease in DM2 patients of 5.2%, with the most sex being women 6.17%, the most age is 51-60 years with 7.92%, and most chronic kedney desease at the terminal stage with a percentage of 38 71%. Conclusions from this study the prevalence of chronic kidney desease is still high in DM2 patients in Al Ihsan Regional Hospital in 2018, with the highest incidence in female sex, 51-60 age, and the highest stage is the terminal stage.Keywords: Age, Chronic kidney desease, Diabetes Melitus, Glomerular Filtration Rate, Sex.Abstrak. Diantara penyakit degeneratif, Diabetes Melitus (DM) adalah salah satu penyakit yang mengancam kesehatan manusia. Tahun 2012 sebanyak 1,5 juta orang meninggal diakibatkan oleh DM, dan 43% kematian  penduduk di seluruh dunia dengan usia di bawah 70 tahun diakibatkan DM. Komplikasi yang dapat terjadi pada DM adalah nephropati. Komplikasi serius yang terjadi dari diabetik nephrophaty adalah terjadinya kerusakan dari ginjal, yaitu gagal ginjal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui prevalensi gagal ginjal kronik pada pasien DM2 di RSUD Al Ihsan pada tahun 2018, serta melihat karakteristik gagal ginjal kronik pada pasien DM2 berdasarkan indikator usia, jenis kelamin, dan laju filtrasi glomerulus. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional mempergunakan data rekam medis. Sampel penelitian adalah pasien yang terdiagnosis DM2 di RSUD Al Ihsan pada tahun 2018. Dengan metode random sampling, diperoleh 600 sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan prevalensi gagal ginjal kronik pada pasien DM2 sebesar 5,2%, dengan jenis kelamin terbanyak adalah perempuan 6,17%, usia terbanyak adalah 51-60 tahun dengan 7,92%, dan gagal ginjal terbanyak pada stage terminal dengan persentase 38,71%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini masih cukup tingginya kejadian gagal ginjal kronik pada pasien DM2 di RSUD Al Ihsan pada tahun 2018, dengan angka kejadian terbanyak pada jenis kelamin perempuan, usia terbanyak 51-60, serta stage terbanyak adalah stage terminal.Kata kunci : Diabetes Melitus, Gagal Ginjal Kronik, Jenis Kelamin, Laju Filtrasi Glomerulus, Usia
