dc.description Abstract.This study has a background about what efforts are made by teachers in infusing the value of disciplined, independent, and polite character in group A children in Islamic Daycare & Preschool. The teacher's efforts were seen during habituation and learning activities. Thus, this study aims to see the ways in which teachers in infusing character in early childhood group A in Islamic Daycare & Preschool. In this study the character values studied were limited to the character values of discipline, independence, and polite character. The theoretical approach in this research is the concept of early childhood education and the concept of character. This research has been done in Islamic Day Care & Preschool in Bandung. A qualitative approach by means of descriptions through data collection from interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Some findings obtained from the results of the study are: 1) Planning for the infusition of disciplined, independent, and polite character in Daycare & Preschool which is contained in the vision, mission, SOP (standard operating procedures), RPPM (weekly learning plan), and RPPH (daily learning plan). In vision and mission Daycare & Preschool we want to form children who have noble character according to Al-Quran and hadith by building islamic character through habituation. 2) The implementation of infusing character is carried out in 4 activities. They are welcoming the arrival of children, learning in the classroom, learning outside the classroom, and picking up children. 3) Evaluation of infusing  disciplined, independent, and polite character of children in Daycare & Preschool are listed in the children's assessment at RPPH, assessment of observations, anecdotal notes, and children's report cards. The results of the study, the researcher suggests to the teacher to conduct learning using movie who has exemplary stories that can be planned in each learning theme. To the school the researcher suggests that the school immediately make an official Islamic character education curriculum.Keywords: Teacher Efforts, Infusing Character, Early Childhood.Abstrak. Penelitian ini memiliki latar belakang mengenai upaya apa saja yang dilakukan guru dalam menanamkan nilai karakter displin, mandiri, dan sopan santun pada anak kelompok A di Islamic Daycare & Preschool. Upaya guru tersebut terlihat pada saat kegiatan pembiasaan dan pembelajaran. Sehingga, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara-cara apa saja yang guru lakukan dalam menanamkan karakter pada anak usia dini kelompok A di Islamic Daycare & Preschool. Pada penelitian ini dibatasi nilai karakter yang diteliti yaitu nilai karakter disiplin, mandiri, dan sopan santun. Pendekatan teori pada penelitian ini ialah konsep pendidikan anak usia dini dan konsep karakter. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu Islamic Daycare & Preschool di kota Bandung. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan cara pendeskripsian melaui pengumpulan data dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu: 1) Perencanaan penanaman karakter disiplin, mandiri, dan sopan santun di Islamic Daycare & Preschool terdapat pada visi, misi, SOP (standar operasional prosedur), RPPM (rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran mingguan), dan RPPH (rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran harian). Pada visi dan misi Islamic Daycare & Preschool ingin membentuk anak yang memilik akhlak mulia sesuai Al Qur’an dan Hadist dengan membangun karakter islami melalui pembiasaan. 2) Pelaksanaan penaman karakter dilakukan pada 4 kegiatan yaitu penyambutan kedatangan anak, pembelajaran di dalam kelas, pembelajaran di luar kelas, dan penjemputan anak. 3) Penilaian evaluasi penanaman karakter disiplin, mandiri, dan sopan santun anak di Islamic Daycare & Preschool tercantum pada penilaian anak di RPPH, penilaian observasi, catatan anekdot, dan rapot anak. Hasil penelitian peneliti menyarankan kepada guru untuk pembelajaran film mengenai kisah teladan dapat direncanakan di setiap tema pembelajaran. Kepada sekolah peneliti menyarankan agar sekolah segera membuat kurikulum pendidikan karakter islami secara resmi.Kata Kunci: Upaya Guru, Penanaman Karakter, Anak Usia Dini.
