Abstract. One of the biggest crises in the world today is the crisis of modeling. One of the main causes is the absence of a leader who is visionary, competent, and has high integrity in his leadership. The expected leader is the one who can knit the meeting point of various different elements in terms of ideology, culture, and tradition into a new social order that moves towards a new civilization. In other words, a leader should have a strong character who can be an example for the continuity of the people he leads.  The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of outbound activities on the leadership character formation of 8th grade students at Sekolah Alam Bandung. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with measurement of preferences using SPSS, then testing the validity and reliability. The research method used is a case study method by distributing questionnaires in the form of a questionnaire. The technique of determining the sample using purposive sampling method as many as 25 students of class 8 of the natural school Bandung. Based on the results of the questionnaire data processing, it is concluded that the factors that can determine the formation of leadership character are independence, discipline, teamwork, dare to take risks.Meanwhile, it is seen from the weighting results that of these factors that have a higher weight is the courage to take risks equally. -Average score of 41.12% which is supported by indicators of intellectual and emotional activity. That is, the dominant factor that determines the growth of leadership character for 8th graders at Sekolah Alam Bandung is the courage to tak.Keywords: leadership, character, outbound.Abstrak. Salah satu krisis terbesar dunia saat ini adalah krisis keteladanan. Salah satu penyebab utama adalah ketiadaan pemimpin yang visioner, kompeten, dan memiliki integritas tinggi dalam kepemimpinannya. Pemimpin yang diharapkan adalah yang dapat merajut titik temu dari berbagai elemen yang berbeda baik dari sisi ideologi, budaya, dan tradisi menjadi suatu tatanan masyarakat baru yang bergerak menuju peradaban baru. Dengan kata lain seorang pemimpin hendaknya memiliki karakter yang kuat yang dapat menjadi teladan untuk kelangsungan orang yang dipimpinnya.. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan outbond terhadap pembentukan karakter kepemimpinan siswa kelas 8 di Sekolah Alam Bandung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengukuran preferensi menggunakan SPSS, selanjutnya melakukan pengujian uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus dengan penyebaran kuisioner berupa angket. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling sebanyak 25 siswa kelas 8 sekolah alam bandung. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data kuisioner, maka diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu faktor-faktor yang dapat menentukan pembentukan karakter kepemimpinan ialah mandiri, disiplin, teamwork, berani mengambil resiko  Sementara itu dilihat dari hasil pembobotan bahwa dari faktor tersebut yang memiliki bobot lebih tinggi adalah berani mengambil resiko dengan rata-rata skor 41,12% yang didukung oleh indikator keaktifan akal dan emosi. Artinya, faktor dominan yang menentukan tumbuhnya karakter kepemimpinan  terhadap siswa kelas 8 di Sekolah Alam Bandung adalah berani mengambil resiko.Kata Kunci: kepemimpinan, karakter, outbond.
