Abstract. The effect of self management on work engagement is something that has not been studied much, this research was conducted because of the lack of information regarding the effect of self management on work engagement. This research was conducted on marketing employees who belong to the high prestige occcupations. The research method used is the method of causality with the number of subjects 65 employees of the marketing department of PT. Biopharma. This study uses a psychological scale with a self-management measurement tool from Manz and Sims, as well as a work engagement measuring tool from Schaufeli & Bakker. The results showed that 92.3% of employees have high self-management and 98.5% of employees have high work engagement. The results of multiple regression show that the five dimensions of self management have a significant contribution on work engagement, especially Self punishment (X3) which gives the dominant contribution of .464 and the smallest is self observation (X4) of .127.Keywords : Self Management, Work Engagement, Marketing Employees
