dc.description Abstract. The strategy to become a character school can be summarized as the involvement of staff, students and parents (Lickona, 2004). This study aims to obtain an empirical picture of the Descriptive Study of the Implementation of Character Education at SDN 145 Binong Jati, Bandung City. The research method used is a descriptive study with a population of 715 people and a sample of 120 people consisting of 80 students and 40 adults. The measuring instrument used is compiled based on the character education theory of Thomas Lickona, namely Respect and Responsibility and SCCP II (School as Caring Community Profile). The results showed that the school has implemented the values of respect and responsibility. Based on the results of all aspects of the two measuring instruments (Respect and Responsibility and SCCP II), both students, adults and gender are more dominant in the high category. However, there are aspects that still need to be improved, namely the Support Care by Faculty and Student Shaping Environment aspects which are in the medium category.Keywords: Character Education, Schools, Teachers, Students, SDN 145 Binong Jati.Abstrak. Srategi untuk menjadi sekolah berkarakter dapat dirangkum sebagai keterlibatan staf, siswa dan orang tua (Lickona, 2004). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran empirik mengenai Studi Deskriptif Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter Di SDN 145 Binong Jati Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi deskriptif dengan populasi sebanyak 715 orang dan  sample sebanyak 120 orang yg terdiri dari 80 orang siswa dan 40 orang dewasa. Alat ukur yang digunakan disusun berdasarkan teori pendidikan karakter dari Thomas Lickona, yaitu Respect and Responsibility dan SCCP II (School as Caring Community Profile). Hasil penelitian menunjukan, sekolah sudah menerapkan nilai-nilai menghargai dan tanggung jawab. Berdasarkan hasil dari keseluruhan aspek pada kedua alat ukur (Respect and Responsibility dan SCCP II) baik pada siswa, dewasa dan gender lebih dominan berada pada kategori tinggi. Namun terdapat aspek yang masih perlu ditingkatkan yaitu aspek Support Care by Faculty dan Student Shaping Environtment yang berada pada kategori sedang.Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Karakter, Sekolah, Guru, Siswa,SDN 145 Binong Jati.
