Abstract—Parenting is one of the most demanding, challenging and stressful things (1) Parents' inability to face challenges in parenting can make parents feel stressed (2) However, if parents are able to manage their stress well, they will be calmer and more focused in everyday life, have a clear, calm, focused state of mind, in recognizing children's needs and being present in the context of parenting described in the concept of mindful parenting. one of which impacts on psychological well-being (3) Journal and research findings that discuss mindful parenting and psychological well-being are quite common in mothers with children with disabilities such as Autism and ADHD. Meanwhile, there are other disabilities that are challenging in the parenting process, namely children with Down Syndrome (5) However, there are differences between research findings and phenomena in the field, such as what happened in one community of parents with Down Syndrome children, namely the POTADS community (6) The author sees that the condition of mothers with Down Syndrome children in this community shows adaptive behavior (7) The research method used is the correlational method with a sample of 100 mothers with Down Syndrome children who are members of the POTADS community. Measurements were made using the Psychological well being scale (PWBS) and Mindfulness in parenting questionare (MIPQ) measurement tools distributed via google form. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between Psychological well-being and Mindful Parenting in mothers with Down Syndrome children (r = .435, p <0.01).Keywords— Mindful Parenting, Psychological well-being, Mother, Down Syndrome
