dc.description Abstract. Job satisfaction describes how a person feels about his job. Job satisfaction can affect an employee’s performance. It is related to many factors, one of which is conflict. A conflict occurs when demands must be fulfilled at one time. Women who have two roles as mothers and workers are more vulnerable to conflict. This conflict is called work-family conflict. This study aimed to identify the correlation between work-family conflict and job satisfaction with involved female employees of education staff of the Islamic University of Bandung. The data were collected from the work-family conflict scale arranged by Greenhaus, and adapted by Carlson, Kackmar, and William (2000). Job satisfaction is then analyzed by a job satisfaction survey arranged by Spector (1997). This research was designed as quantitative research. The data were subsequently analyzed using the spearman rank correlation calculation, and the data showed -0.263 of the result. The correlation analysis showed that there is a weak correlation between job satisfaction and work-family conflict in a negative direction.Keywords: Work-Family Conflict, Job Satisfaction, Female Employees of Education StaffAbstrak. Kepuasan kerja menggambarkan bagiamana perasaan seseorang terhadap pekerjaannya. Kepuasan kerja dapat mempengaruhi optimalisasi kinerja karyawan. Kepuasan kerja berhubungan dengan banyak faktor salah satunya adalah konflik. Konflik terjadi jika tuntutan harus dipenuhi dalam waktu bersamaan. Wanita yang memiliki dua peran sebagai ibu dan pekerja, rentan mengalami konflik. Konflik tersebut dinamakan work-family conflict. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan work-family conflict dengan kepuasan kerja pada Tenaga Kependidikan Wanita Universitas Islam Bandung. Data penelitian diperoleh dari work-family conflict scale yang disusun oleh Greenhaus, dan disederhanakan oleh Carlson, Kackmar, dan William (2000). Kemudian untuk kepuasan kerja diukur oleh job satisfaction survey yang disususn oleh Spector (1997). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif kolerasional. Data analisis menggunakan perhitungan kolerasi rank spearman, dan data menunjukan hasil -0,263. Data tersebut menunjukan bahwa hubungan kepuasan kerja dengan work-family conflict memiliki hubungan yang lemah, dengan arah negatif.Kata Kunci: Work-Family Conflict, Kepuasan Kerja, Tenaga Kependidikan Wanita
